Wonderful property. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Beds slept sooo nice.

I did not like the location or how the hotel looked. The pictures online looked way better than what the hotel actually looked like.

We enjoyed the historical building. We didn’t enjoy things like the bathtub handles being sloppily caulked in place with caulk that didn’t even attempt to match the tile. The grout in the tile was in rough shape as well, It looked like it was dirty and had been repaired a few times by someone unskilled in this trade. At check out, I stood at the counter waiting while one person tried to explain to the other side of the phone that they couldn’t use someone else’s credit card to pay for the room and while the second person at the counter completely ignored me and would not look at me. Another gentleman in a suit walked up to the counter and rather than waiting behind me, strode up to the woman who was engaged in ignoring me and she helped him immediately, still not acknowledging me. I had to wait for the guy to finish on the phone...

I had a terrible experience during check in. The gentlemen at the front desk was inhospitable. He informed me that my room was located on the 14th . I requested a room on a lower floor because I prefer not to take elevators. He appeared annoyed by this and tersely stated my room was on the 3rd floor. When I entered the room it was extremely dark and smelled strongly of mold. I went back to the front desk and informed the gentlemen working of my issue with the room. The gentlemen of my issues with the room. He looked at me and growled “I know you didn’t just say I smell like mold” in a threatening manner. I stared at him in disbelief for a few stunned seconds before asking him to clarify his question. I replied that I was referring to the room and asked why a sensible person would say such a thing to him out of the blue? He responded that guests have insulted him in the past. I clarified that was not the case with me. He provided me with a another room assignment on the 4th floor. I went to the room and replayed the incident in my mind and decided that this is not the sort of customer service that I ‘m willing to accept and immediately checked out of the hotel and checked into another establishment around the corner. When I went to check out he claimed that someone recently called him the N word. Note: I’m African American.

Good location. Was forced to valet park with no option to self park. Found a couple of dirty towels in the room and no information booklet

Great location cation. Good facilities. Clean. Nice staff. Will stay here again

Roof top bar provided great views of the city. Convenient to city attractions.

The lobby and restaurants were nice but the rooms were below average. Shower tile was no very clean. The shower spout looked like it was able to fall off. Disappointing for the money.
