Front desk in the morning were nice and professional. Night person was not hospitable. Older hotel that needs some refreshing. Rooms are way outdated.

The property was very old and to expensive to not be up to date.

What an embarrassment for downtown Augusta. Why hasn’t this hotel been renovated or torn down. Everything about this hotel is disgusting. Luckily the sheets were clean but I can’t state enough how bad the carpet, paint, bathroom, elevator, lobby, and restaurant area were. I put towels down so that my clothes never touched anything and wore socks as well. The front desk ladies were very nice and it’s not their fault. The mayor of Augusta should be fired for the overall state of downtown. What an embarrassment with having one of the most important Army headquarters right next door. Time to close the doors Ramada.

It was a very relaxed and quiet stay, the staff was super-friendly, location was great in walking distance to everything. But the property is "dated", the lobby has the charm of the late 80s, while clean and well kept overall, this is not a modern place by a stretch. But if you like a bit nostalgic hotel atmosphere, this was a good value for our night in Augusta.

Right beside the train tracks. Trains going thru blowing horn all night.

Convenient location and parking. Good staff. Reinvestment needed. Turn off the tv in the lobby.

My family and I were evacuated from our homes due to Hurricane Florence. We booked 4 rooms at this Ramada. My in laws were not able to make it this far southwest so they tried to cancel 3 of the rooms. But no one at the hotel was answering the phones. I actually made it to the hotel and checked in only to find that the old wooden furniture was chipping all over the floor. I had young children and a dog with me so this was not safe. We have medication that needed to be refrigerated but no in-room refrigerator. And to top it all off, as I was sitting on the bed looking for a new hotel on my phone, I noticed bed bugs. We immediately went downstairs to check out after being there 10 minutes and they still charged us for the night. We were also charged for the 3 rooms that my family was unable to get to. We told them we tried to cancel the rooms by phone within the cancellation window but no one was picking up. They said there was nothing they could do they were checking in over 120 rooms that day due to the hurricane. All other hotels were waiving this cancellation policy due to the hurricane, but not the Ramada. Ramada said to take it up with Orbitz. Orbitz says they need to contact Ramada for a refund. But Orbitz cannot get in touch with the hotel either and I still have these charges on my credit card, which I will dispute. I will never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, or use Orbitz for booking. A week later, I have this unresolved issue on top of the hurricane worry.

We enjoyed our room. The bed was comfortable, and the view was lovely. The air conditioning unit was a bit loud but not awful.

All staff we met were very nice, the rooms were large but needed updating...especially the electrical outlets. Only 2 in room. The roof top bar is very nice, but could be a happening place with a little updating. Nice view of downtown. All in all I would come back for the location, if the price is right. It's worth being across the street from the "sports center" bar....a great little dive......

We were here during an evacuation from Hurricane Matthew and the staff did all they could to keep the guests comfortable in a trying time for guests and staff alike. There is a restaurant which is normally open Mon-Fri for breakfast and lunch which they opened on the weekends so guests did not have to leave the hotel for a meal. I give all the staff a 5 star rating.

I chose this hotel based entirely on location and cost. It's definitely in a slightly sketchy part of the city and does draw some sketchy guests who pay by the month but it's only about 6 blocks or so from good bars and restaurants. The Marriot, which is closer to the better neighborhood is ideal except it will run you about $200/night.

Hotel is not pretty but the people who work there couldn't be nicer. It's in a great spot if you are looking to stay downtown, only two blocks from the river front. The hotel is certainly older but the rooms are fairly larger than average. Ours was clean and the beds were comfortable. It has a indoor heated pool, small, but fine for the kids.

This is an embarrassment to the city of Augusta especially since they host the Master's. This is a high rise "motel" with terrible service, rooms, and location. Great to see the "showgirls" club as you walk out the door. This hotel needs a top to bottom gutting. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money and stay at the Marriott.

Hotel was old and a bit run down. Room service was not available for some unknown reason. Poor neighborhood... a little scary.
