The hotel was offering a 2 night deal with breakfast both days and dinner the first night included. This is a very well situated location, especially if you are travelling by train as it's within easy walking distance of the station! However, I didn't see or hear any trains, in fact the room which was at the front/side of the building nearest the station was very quiet. Great room, we had a mini suite. Plenty of room, really comfortable massive bed, couch, chair and plenty of storage space. What I particularly liked was the discovery of a small carton of fresh milk in the fridge! Obviously there were facilities for tea and coffee making with an excellent selection of teas and coffees (& biscuits!) Staff were great, really helpful, polite, nothing too much trouble! Breakfast was excellent, plenty on offer with buffet service. The sausages were amazing! Chef kept everything topped up with fresh supplies. Dinner was also excellent, definitely recommend the fish. However, do not drink in the bar unless you like paying £10 per round....we walked down the road and found a pub. The hotel is well located for the town and the various sites. Easy walk to the theatre too.

Fantastic location- great walk into town! Sites easily accessible from the hotel. Rooms are really nice and an enjoyable breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful Convenient and reasonable parking Will definitely stay again!! :)

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the Statford. The hotel is really nice, the room had all you could need and was furnished to a high standard. The breakfast are tasty and offer options to suit everyone with really attentive staff. The Hotel is situated just a five minute walk from the centre with all its bars and restaurants. There is nothing that lest its down would fully recommend.

Stayed just one night; great location, lovely room etc but very disappointed by our breakfast experience. After being seated we waited ages to get our cutlery provided, the waitress with the sole job of setting tables, set tables without seated guests first. No yoghurt, (hotel completely run out). Orange juice empty, Pancakes could not be found, took two attempts before they were actually served to our table and I believe they had been emptied from a packet and were cold on the plate. This was at 9:30am so later arrivals may have had further disappointment. Upon check out we mentioned our disappointment and were told we were not alone and the hotel were aware of the issues.

Excellent Hotel, looked very impressive from the outset, plenty of free parking, staff very friendly and set the tone from booking in to the gentleman who showed us to our table for breakfast, which I couldn't fault. We ate in the bar for our evening meal which has a very relaxed atmosphere, fairly limited choice but food was excellent.Great swimming pool, didn't see the gym. Room was very large and spotless, did not hear anybody from other rooms through the night. Couple of small niggles,we were on the ground floor and the room got very warm, through the night, because there was a path just outside the window, which opened out to fields,we were a bit worried about security, would it be worth having some sort of security device fitted, that could only be opened from inside,I will add there is a fan which can be used. Also I find the Q Hotel website very confusing to use,we booked through an external website. Well done Q Hotels we will be looking for other deals.

My wife and I stay here every Easter for a three night break, staying in the same Feature room which we love. We were checked in by a very friendly, efficient young lady and went up to our room to unpack. Everything was perfect- spotlessly clean and with a fully stocked fridge and luxury toiletries in the bathroom. Dinner that night was pleasant and relaxed with food and service very good as it was in the bar after. Unfortunately, breakfast the following morning was a disaster! The Chef refused to provide hot food after 10 am ( breakfast was until 10.30) so we, and several other guests were only able to have cereal + toast , as all pastries , fruit etc had also gone. The Hotel is aware of this and dealt with the problem immediately. Unfortunately, it started the day badly and it took us a while to relax again. However, dinner that evening was again very good and drinks in the Bar afterwards finally dispelled any lingering tension! Breakfast the next morning was brilliant and as we would have expected each morning-- plenty of hot food, fruit etc , and was lovely. When we came back with friends after a walk around Stratford, we relaxed with coffees in the comfortable Lounge which was very pleasant. We ate out the Sunday evening and came back for a nightcap in the Hotel Bar. The next morning however, breakfast was again disappointing. While there was some hot food they had run out of bacon -- before 10am ! We had a late check out at which we had a little problem, but on the whole we really enjoyed our stay at this lovely Hotel. If it had not been for the breakfast issues it would have been perfect but , with them we felt unable to give full marks on this occasion . However, we would definitely recommend this Hotel and will be returning next Easter.

Great quality rooms, great staff. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was lovely , fresh and diverse. My only complaint would be the length of time it takes to get a drink from the bar, it is quiet but while there are guests someone should be in the bar area at all times.

Q Hotels have excelled themselves once again The Stratford Hotel is a lovely hotel located in a ideal place close to the Town Centre We were pleased with everything, our room, the food ( we had breakfast and evening meal ), the drink, and the service, as with all other Q Hotels we have stayed in the All Staff are very friendly and accommodating and work well as a team We will definitely return and since our return we have booked a well deserved break for our Daughter and Son-in-Law at this hotel in August, and I am sure they will love it as we did Thank you to all.

We stayed hear for New Years celebrations and loved it so much we came back for Easter. Everything is good about this hotel. All the staff are extremely attentive. The food is always great. The rooms are clean the beds comfortable, pillows nice and squishy and the towels fluffy!

Having stayed here previously - decided to return to complete the sight seeing in Stratford that we missed last time. We booked the deal that included your evening meal. Room was absolutely beautiful, exquisite bed linens, loads of storage and very clean and tidy. Large TV desk etc hairdryer. The evening menu was quite extensive starters around £8-£14 and mains £16- £25. Surprisingly the wine menu wasn't too over priced with good quality Chardonnay around £22. The restaurant was very quiet at night so the service was unobtrusive but efficient. On balance the quality of the meat on the main courses we felt was not as good as previously - I ordered the Rib of beef on evening and it was almost all fat and at the price I expected better. The breakfast selection is very good but the way the dining room is set up it is totally inadequate to deal with the amount of clients all trying to serve themselves at the same time. The food itself at breakfast was of an excellent quality. For example everyone is waiting for their toast to cook around the toaster which is where you need to queue to get to the hot food . Whose idea was this ??? Crazy organisation. The hotel is within a few minutes walk from the main river and shopping and sights also a lovely micropub (one of the reasons we wanted to stay here :) ) so is excellently situated. Loads of small restaurants nearby too. Recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to sight see Stratford on foot. .
