We agreed to go "green" which typically means we'd reuse our towels. Here it actually meant your garbage would be overflowing and you'd run out of toilet paper as well.

In addition to its beautiful atmosphere, the Oswego is more than dog friendly -- it's dog welcoming.

Really nice hotel, a couple of blocks from the Clipper Ferry Terminal making it very convenient.

Fabulous hotel and close to everything! The staff were helpful in finding great places to eat and interesting things to explore while in Victoria. They also helped book my transportation back to the airport and a wake-up call for my 5am shuttle. Fabulous people and wonderful location!

Hotel was great very friendly staff. Just less than a quarter mile from the boat and customs. The room is apartment style so we made dinner there and could walk to all the sites in downtown Victoria. Everything was excellent, very clean and great bathrooms only wish would be that the bed/pillows were a bit more comfortable.

Nice, comfortable room, facing west (sunsets), good food and drink, great staff

Great Hotel, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable, stylish, great staff, convenient location, near fun restaurants, grocery store if you want to make some meals in your room. They let us check in early, and leave our bags while we walked around the last day after we checked out. Would stay there again, so don't take the last room when we plan to visit! (My husband booked the room for me and my friend. She had the bedroom, and I found the hide-a-bed couch in the other room of the suite was comfortable.)

Very quiet location. Attention to detail. Helpful staff. Clean and well appointed room. Fair price when compared to other hotels in downtown area.

From the moment I walked in the door, and I noticed a terrible old musty smell, my experience started to get soured. The place is okay I guess, but really it reminds me of an old apartment building that some management company has bought, spruced up and tried to make into a hip new hotel. Unfortunately, the layout is still for apartments, the amenities are not there, and the staff are not trained to what really good hotel should look and feel like. My sweetie and I must have walked in and out a half dozen times, and the staff behind the desk didn't even look up. My sweetie mentioned this, and I agree: a really good hotel with well trained staff will greet you every time, and even remember your name. For these reasons, I can't really recommend it.

We stayed for only one night and really wanted to stay more. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. The suite was super clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable! The location and the price couldn't be beat. This was a great place to stay for a Christmastime vacation.

Helpful, pleasant staff with spacious roomss. Terrific location.

From check-in to check-out, the entire staff was fantastic!

Good view, spacious and friendly staff. Safe paid parking.
