Rosellen Suites At Stanley Park

We love the pretty leafy neighbourhood, which is next to the beautiful Stanley Park. Nearby are also good cafes, which made staying at Rosellen Suites such a convenient and comfortable experience for us. The service is also excellent. Everyone is helpful and accommodating, and we are very appreciative of the kind gestures. The rooms may be a little dated, but they are spacious and well-equibbed. We are very happy with our stay!

My suite (202) was not like the modern, well-furnished ones shown on the website. It was more like a student apartment, with dated decor and cheap furniture. The second bedroom was so small that both ends of the bed touched walls. However, it was very clean. Potential guests should be aware that this is an apartment building, not a hotel.

We came to Vancouver with friends a couple days before our cruise and wanted a place that we could share that would be close to it all. We found it!! We have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, living room - plenty of space for the 4 of us! Actually, we could have fit 2 more people easily on the Murphy bed in the living room. The property is not air conditioned but is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood so having the windows open was perfectly ok. I rated it very good - not excellent because of the size of the shower is small and all the doors are loud and thin but that being said, I would stay here again!

We had such a great week at Vancouver's Rosellen Suites. We walked everywhere and used the Hop On Hop Off Trolley to see Stanley Park, Granville Island Market, ride False Creek Ferry, and finally to get to The Boathouse Restaurant on English Bay. Perfect!

Rosellen is funky enough to be lived in, and clean enough for my Auntie. No small feat. Kent is friendly and knowledgeable, so accommodating; and half a block from the park! Lovely. An easy walking distance to everything. Go to the Sylvia for happy hour. It's the old Vancouver before the glass and metal scrapers took over. Charming.

Very restful stay in a nice area. Cute kitchenette, fluffy beds and affordable. Decor is a little dated but the staff keeps the suites clean. Walking distance to Stanley Park. Three of us were comfortable in the suite.

I chose this hotel for our ladies' stay-cation (I am the only one now living outside the Vancouver area of the group of us) because of its size and proximity to Stanley Park and Denman Street for shops and restaurants. We weren't disappointed: the suite was very roomy for the five of us, we loved the peaceful neighbourhood setting, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The bed I slept on was a little firm for me so I struggled to sleep well, but my companions all appeared to sleep pretty well. We loved having two full baths and a full kitchen (we only used it for breakfasts though). We noticed some dusty areas when we hunted for the switch for the heat register, but the rest of the suite was very clean and comfortable. We loved the wood-burning fireplace, although we didn't use it. It is run by a small staff but they were very helpful. We would stay again.

Returning here after having been unable to visit for some time we found that a place which has always been great nevertheless keeps on getting better and better. We stayed for two months in winter and spring 2017, from (unusual) snow to the colour and fragrance of Vancouver's cherry trees in blossom. We have been cosy and comfortable throughout and have enjoyed experiencing the off-season beauty of the city from this quiet West End base. The staff here major in helpfulness and welcome, nothing is too much trouble. The suites are spacious with high standards of cleanliness and pleasant furnishings. We recommend Rosellen Suites to family and friends and look forward to our next visit.

While the decor is a little 3-starfish, Rosellen Suites is otherwise all 5-star, and great value for money. The location is ideal...close to great restaurants on Denman St, a spit from Stanley Park, and easy access to downtown by walking, or public transit. The suite was totally equipped, unlike many that say they are but are minimal, and very clean (bonus new sheets and towels daily, even though we stayed a week, including new tea towels in the kitchen). The staff were wonderful...nice and super helpful. By the end of our stay it was starting to feel Ike home! We will be back.

This once appartement building now converted to suites. Very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, basic kitchen setup but functional. We came by from the Island and didn't need to have a car. Our goal was to walk to everything : Stanley Park for walks, to the aquarium (you get 10% off coupons), Safeway for groceries. And there is a good choice of restaurants, cafés if you want to eat out. We took our car because of extreme wet weather but it is not necessary. Be aware that if you need parking, it's $25/day. No view except street or inner courtyard.
