Hotel needs a refresh but it is respectable. The trail around the hotel is fabulous for morning walks and the cook to order breakfast was divine.

We had probably one of the worst views in the hotel, but it was still a pretty good view. We were not in the tower, but were on floor three near the lobby, but we could still open up the windows and see across the bay. Very close to Stanley Park, we have young children and pushed the strollers throughout the park without any problems. There are several restaurants nearby-High end on the water, and basic restaurants about two blocks away. Easy access north to the Capilano Swinging Bridge and Sea to Sky drive. All around great location. Nice outdoor pool, small indoor pool and hot tub good for rainy days.

Huge thanks to the staff for a looking on earlier than normal check in. My friend and I drove all night and was treated with being able to check in first thing in the morning. I cannot thank you enough! Room was beautiful. The bed was luxurious. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We stayed at the Westin on the Vancouver waterfront and it is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. We booked a suite, because we were traveling with our son and wanted to be able to stay up late while he slept. The 'suite is very small and both beds are in the same room, so it is like a regular hotel room with a small alcove off of the sleeping area - I was a bit disappointed with this. I think there are better values for the money in the Vancouver area, but Westin's are always nicely appointed. The restaurant CArderos next door is excellent.

There was construction noise at 6:30 in the morning without a notice. Even though parking on the street is free after 9:00pm to 9:00am, the valet is very expensive and so is self parking. They didn't let us know we could have parked for free, we wasted $40 for no reason. The carpets were old and smelly.

good location, nice staff, no free internet though. Easy to get around city from the hotel.

The most difficult part of booking a first trip to Vancouver is that even with the maps to difficult to know where to go. This is the perfect location, right near Stanley part and the water and an easy walk to let's of good restaurants and easy access to the major roads. The staff was friendly and while we are low maintenance guests, they really left a great impression from the delitful lady at checkin, the guys at valet and the lady in the gift shop. The room was clean and the temperature comfortable. This is a destination I have already recommended.

The location couldn't have been better, the amenities were great, the staff very friendly, for the most part. Suggestions: 1) Charging for WiFi on top of $400-plus a night is ridiculous. The hotel should include it as a free benefit. 2) They give you a $5 coupon to use in hotel restaurant/day if you forgo housekeeping. That should be more like $15. 3) The rate is high for what you get. $300/night would be better.

I love this hotel, it's situated off from the busy Robson Street, but has views of Stanley park and a nice walk around the harbor. Great restaurants are in the area that are within walking distance, and you can go for a nice run in the morning. The reason I only gave it 3 stars, is that we booked a suite and when we arrive at 4pm, only one of the rooms was finished....i would have thought by at least 3pm the rooms would have been finished. So we were only allowed to use the adjoining room that was available. Once the other room was available, the front desk called and gave us a new set of keys, that didn't work (we didn't know that they didn't work until we tried them and were locked out- and were in bathing suits). Overall, the experience was good, people were helpful, but there was a long line to check in, and the mishap in checking in and getting keys that didn't work was kinda disappointing.

I was attending a conference at the hotel, and it was all very well done. But, the best part was the Killer view from my room. external balcony, but the big glass slider opened up on the world and had a nice high safety railing. The Canada day fireworks over the bay are Great!

Beautiful view of the bay, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast. While I don't mind paying top dollar for a nice room, I am annoyed to have to pay top dollar to park my car.

This is an excellent, sophisticated, classy hotel with kind staff and a fabulous location/view.

The location on the waterfront doesn't get any better than this. The lobby/ lounging area is huge and thus perfect for families to sit & chat. The staff were very courteous all-around.

Fabulous time, wonderful staff, the only thing missing was a bathtub. Shower was great tho.

The hotel is centrally located, the staff was helpful and attentive, the rooms were kinda bland, and showing some age, there was one time I called 5 minutes ahead for the valet to have my car ready, but when I got down there, I had to wait 5 more minutes. In room dining was decent the salmon was a bit dry, but the tomato soup was awesome.

Made my short stay a fun & happy experience. The location was perfect location for all I wanted to do. Your staff were friendly and heplful.

Stayed here based on recommendation from a family member that previously stayed there. Rooms were beautiful and the view was spectacular. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend if staying in Vancouver. Very convenient location.

This was our final day and night on vacation and simply topped off a wonderful trip to British Columbia. The staff was very helpful - concierge mapped a downtown Vancouver bus trip (public transportation) for us to get to a specific store on the other end of town. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. The location was right on the harbor with walking and bike paths and just a short walk to Stanley Park.

There was suppose to be floor to ceiling sliding doors an there wasn't... There was suppose to be a bathtub and there wasn't! There was a small little window and outside u just see a wall! Horrible we felt like we were in a cave!

I Have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and it is in a perfect location; walking distance to downtown and stanley park. Views of Coal Harbour are great so make sure to get one unless you rather face downtown. My Wife and I went to Cin Cin for dinner and it is great (make reservation). We rented bikes right next to the hotel and took a ride around stanley park along the seawall. Then of to a Canucks (NHL) game. Overall Vancouver is a great city to just relax and get away.
