This charming 100-year old house, with tall ceilings, 4 functional skylights, wooden floors and original wainscotting is decorated with curated art from the owner's (an artist) collection, and is surrounded by manicured gardens. It has an enclosed front porch that protects you from the weather (sun heat or rain) when you enter and buffers street noise. You're on the main floor with nobody above. The back fenced garden is shared and great for your dog, and you have your own patio and bbq. A kitchen with lots of small appliances and all you need for cooking. An open Living and Dining Room, with plenty to sit on. Each room has its dedicated office area with ergonomic chair. Printer and shredder is there for your use.
Plenty of amenities within 4-5 blocks radius, including good well-priced restaurants, banks, Vancouverites favourite grocery store - Donald's, London Drugs, and other cute shops, as well as a neat community acupuncture clinic.

The interior of the older house has lovely wood flooring. My car was safe in the (optional) off-street parking. I felt comfortable & safe in the house & in the area. A caretaker lived nearby in case I needed help with anything. The location is an older residential area--not downtown--but was close to downtown. Access to everywhere I wanted to visit was easy. There was some initial confusion in accessing the property; this was quickly resolved by a responsive host. I would stay here again.
