Nice suite with kitchen, nearby super market for grocery.

This property is a few steps from Robson Street, a gateway for shopping, eating, and people watching. The hotel side of the property has an excellent restaurant. We prefer the space and amenities of an apartment on the residence side of the hotel. The staff were helpful and kind. Highly recommend. One hint: Having seen other reviews, I messaged in advance for a newer apartment.

- I loved the location and the staff was incredibly helpful, polite and professional. - The restaurant at the hotel is amazing. - The residences at the hotel are very nice. There wasn't too much noise, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom squeaky clean and spacious. - We stayed in a renovated apt and particularly enjoyed the new and clean kitchen with a fridge and stove. I also like that there were French channels in the TV. The balcony had quite a nice view too. - It is a 25-30 min drive from the hotel. Thank you for a pleasant stay

Despite our room being very spacious we had a few glitches. First, I noticed that the bathroom towel holders had fallen off and wasn't repaired or patched up property. Also, our safe didn't work and had to have it replaced. Plus the lights in our bedroom shorted out. (we didn't call about this one as my husband said save it for the next guest to do). Other than that the staff was delightful, and accommodating. They provided us with complimentary wifi and our bed was super comfortable. Despite the few hiccups, we'd love to come back and stay again.

I have stayed many finest hotels in US, Canada, Japan, Hongkong, Mainila, Taipa etc. over 50 years This the best of all the five star plus hotels I stayed so for. Thanks Orbitz for recommending this finest world class property.

clean and friendly staff. conveniently located in the middle of the city. Walking distance to most places.

I like the idea of the amenities in your room. The location is right in the middle of downtown and its very easy to get around

We liked how spacious or suite was in the residence. We also really liked that we did not hear other guests at all. No doors slamming in the mornings before we got up, didn't hear anyone's TV, it was so quiet inside. We liked the central location of the hotel too. We did not like that you had to pay extra for wifi or to use the computers in the business center.

It is an older building. Well maintained but it could use a few renovations here and there in infrastructure, furniture, appliances... but the room was spacious and comfortable... and the best of all... it is it’s location, in the heart of Vancouver downtown. My biggest problem during my stay was that, after being there only a few hours after arrival, the rental car got damaged while under the care of the valet parking staff. The valet took 5 days (and multiple call from my part) to perform an investigation. I talked to front desk manager (Abi) about the length of time the resolution was taking, he was very quick to say there is nothing he can do to speed up the process because the valet is an independent company. Because of my persistence, he did send an email and talk to the valet parking staff that night and remove parking charges but he again insisted there was no much more he could do because they are an independent company. I pretty much was left on my own to deal with the valet parking and no courtesy calla to see how thing where going. Honestly, considering I was a guest and the valet is a company retained by the hotel to provide a service, I was expecting much more involvement and ownership from the hotel. I have been reading about this and it seems hotels are super quick to separate themselves from the issue with the valet. Lesson learned... from now on, I will always self park.

Close to everything Continental breakfast very delicious

really had an amazing time.. location was perfect.. staff are nice.. room is very clean and very nice.

Stayed at Sutton La Grande Residence for 5 days. Very pleasant experience, room with a small kitchen and living room clean and decent in size. Balcony is a plus. Hotel's location - excellent. Small grocery store, many restaurants and shops are all within short walking distance. Price reasonable compared to the price of the room only in nearby hotels. Highly recommend the place!

Great hotel and excellent staff! Location unbeatable along with comfortable rooms

Centrally located, close to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Walkable to Granville St, Gastown, Chinatown, Coal Harbor, Granville Island, Art Museum and the Cruise ship docks. Easy to get around.

We think this is a great place to stay with a family since there is a sofa bed in he living area, which we used with our son. Our room had been recently upgraded and was in a very good condition. While the hotel has tried to deal with the fact that there was no original air conditioning installed by placing a stand alone air conditioner in the living space, we found that the separate bedroom area stayed uncomfortably warm for us. Granted, Vancouver has a mild climate and likely doesn't need air conditioning on an all-the-time basis, it still is nice to have when it is needed. Unfortunately we fronted Burrard Street and that meant we could not open the window without a great deal of street noise. The other issue was the charge to have internet in the room which we decided to forego since we had our mobile carriers to fall back on to get the internet access we wanted even if it was on roaming to do it. Since other hotels also often have this charge we will not consider it out of the norm but mention it. There is wifi in the public areas but we didn't use it to be able to comment on it. So, the AC issue is really the only negative that we can post. We were totally happy with the public rooms of the hotel, housekeeping, the full kitchen, fluffy bath towels and its location. We would consider staying here again for the fact that everything besides the bedroom air conditioning was very good.

We were in Vancouver on Canada Day, Canada's 150th birthday. Sutton Place was only a few blocks from Canada Place where the main events were taking place. We arrived early in the morning having disembarked from a cruise ship. Sutton Place was very happy to hold our luggage while we explored Vancouver. The staff, including check-in people, bellman and concierge, we're all very friendly and efficient. We stayed 2 evenings. They even helped us arrange ground transportation. The hotel was a little pricey but that may have been due to the Canada Day celebrations. The city was bursting at the seams with visitors. I would choose Sutton Place again.

We loved the fact that this was a centrally located hotel which made it easy for my family to walk to all the attractions.

It had a full kitchen, little shop downstairs to pick up snacks and drinks.
