History and location
Desk Staff was great help!
Loved quaint charm of hotel and the history. Restaurant was good and convenient. Being on the bay was lovely and nice part of Vancouver l. Great option if you want quiet but with plenty of restaurants close by and jogging trails and Stanley Park.
The Sylvia hotel was the perfect place to stay on my trip to Vancouver. It was very clean and safe. The only thing i wish it had was fridges in the rooms. This would have saved me from eating out all the time....but I would still give the hotel all the stars!
Spacious room, Nice location, Quiet. People were nice.
Built in 1912 and had photos of the people. Very charming ☺️
No air conditioning or fan. Hot Hot Hot
I like the classic feel of the Sylvia. It feels like going back in time. And views of English Bay from our room and the dining room were beautiful.
Heritage property kept in good shape. No air conditioning.
Pros: Old building charm, great views and wonderful area to spend the day with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Cons: No A/C so had to have the windows open and the area was noisy at night. Expensive rooms and connecting restaurant for breakfast.
