Overall, the stay was fine and the condo itself met our basic needs. However, there are a few things future guests should be aware of.The listing is somewhat ambiguous about the condo's exact location. It is situated in the heart of Chinatown and backs up to a park that regularly sees a large presence of unhoused individuals—often more than 50—who frequently gather directly in front of the building. While we didn’t experience any direct issues, this may be important for some guests to consider, particularly families or those unfamiliar with the area.Additionally, the residents of the building were noticeably unfriendly, and it’s clear there is some tension around the unit being used as a short-term rental. This created a somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere during our stay.Getting into the building for the first time was also quite complicated. The check-in instructions lacked clarity, especially regarding how to use the remote to activate the elevator once inside. A more detailed explanation would definitely help future guests avoid confusion. That said, the property manager was incredibly helpful and very responsive throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. Their support made a big difference and helped smooth out some of the initial hiccups.
