The room was quite congested and there was no microwave available, which made it a bit inconvenient. I also noticed that other Best Western locations usually offer a pool and breakfast, but this one didn’t. Overall, the stay was okay, but I expected a few more basic amenities for the price.

We would never stay at this hotel not only do they charge $15 a night for a parking they charged me twice for it and said that they only charged me once their rooms were disgusting but the wall was falling apart. The bathroom door wouldn't closed there was pubic hairs all in the bathroom and we had dirty towels. We will never stay there again. The restaurant that we went to that's attached is a white spot. All our food came out cold and it took us 20 minutes to get our drinks

Staff were friendly and accommodating. We asked to check in early but all rooms were full so they held our luggage while we kept busy until check in time. Airport shuttle was convenient and punctual. Room had weird smell and some functions were not working correctly (toilet would run constantly after most flushes, tub drain was broken and did not seal). Hallways also had weird smell.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and we ended up leaving the same night. When we arrived, the door to our assigned room was already open and unlocked, with the bathroom fan running—clearly, someone had been in there just before us. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the smell wasn’t just faint; it was deeply ingrained in the curtains and coming directly from the air conditioning unit. The bathroom was in shocking condition, with visible holes in the ceiling above the shower that had been crudely patched, as if the room was mid-renovation. Everything about the space felt unsanitary and unsafe. We immediately decided we couldn’t stay and booked another hotel that same night. Afterward, I checked more recent reviews and saw a pattern of similar complaints about cleanliness and maintenance. I wish I had looked closer before booking, as the newer reviews tell the full story. I strongly urge anyone considering this property to check the most recent feedback before making a reservation. Between the cigarette stench, the unsafe and unfinished room, and the fact that it was already open when we arrived, this property clearly has major issues with both sanitation and guest safety. I will be requesting a refund directly through Hotels.com.

The room was clean and staff were friendly. However the free Shuttle wasn’t wheelchair accessible. Front desk confirmed 3 times that Housekeeping had a shower chair they’d bring to the room. However when asking about it the next day, a different front desk staff was confused and said they’ve never had any shower chairs. & The washroom sink was very clogged, took a few minutes to drain.

I called for the airport shuttle when I arrived in Vancouver and it arrived in 8 minutes. When I was headed back to the airport a few days later, it left Best Western promptly at 6:30 am. Staff was pleasant and answered my question, “How do I work the TV”? Room was quiet, clean and near the elevator. I’m arthritic so this was a plus for me.

The Gastown Clock is a historic landmark and popular tourist attraction in Gastown, Vancouver, British Columbia, built in 1977 by horologist Raymond Saunders.
The Angel of Victory statute. It was sculpted by Coeur de Lion MacCarthy. The bronze statue depicts a female angel ascending to heaven with a fallen soldier. It is located outside Waterfront Station.

Check in staff were efficient. There’s a snack shop a short walk away which is convenient. White Spot also very convenient attached to the hotel. Room was clean, the ac was sufficient, not too cold. The toilet in my room runs which caused the toilet to semi flush often. It wasn’t super disturbing to me but could be for someone else.

Staff are amazing great that the white spot is inside the hotel. But going into the shower there’s no bar to hold on to.
