I rarely write reviews but I feel it necessary to let other guests know the conditions of the rooms for the amount of money you pay. Even though the title of the room says mini, I never dreamed it would be this small. We couldn’t open our suitcases without blocking a path to the bed and the furniture looked like it could fall apart at any moment. You need to change the shower head in the shower because it doesn’t allow you any space to wash your hair or body. I feel like we were robbed with the amount of money we paid. The place is very worn down all around. The only positive thing was the front desk staff.

Pricey and Comfortable, but dated

The hotel is comfortable but is dated. There are two excellent restaurants connected to the hotel, and the location is very convenient to Vancouver sites and shopping. It was a little pricey for its condition. The room was large and comfortable. Television programming is fuzzy, and Youtube TV is not allowed in Canada, so if you want to stream off your computer, you will need a VPN. The internet connection is very good to excellent.

Great downtown location with many dining options close by. Room is clean and renovated. Some wear and tear in the bathroom just needs addressing. But the front staff were friendly and efficient and very thorough when explaining the parking situation. Overall, good stay!

No AC the rooms were hot, weird smell in the hotel ( especially in the rooms) and old old rooms. We had to change rooms twice. The staff was nice and tried to accommodate. It’s not their fault that their hotel is old and not the best facility overall. I wouldn’t recommend staying here because you’ll be miserable.

We were truly disappointed in this hotel, as it had no ramp for one of our members on a scooter. She needed to go through the restaurant to get in and out, and the owner wasn’t happy to open up to do that. The room size was another problem as it was very small and hardly room to walk around the beds, let alone when you have a scooter. on a positive note the staff was very friendly.

We had a great stay at the Moda! It is an older facility for sure but has lovely, helpful staff. Can’t beat the location … borders down town, yaletown and waterfront. Short 1.4 km walk to China town And kitty corner to the Orpheum theatre
