Great location, friendly staff, walking distance to canada line, canada place, cruise port, eating places, small room but good for the price.

Air conditioner is out of order in summer. Too much noise.

Located at walking distance from downtown attractions and shopping disctrict, safe, modern, fair price and clean, comfortable, rooms smells a bit like wet carpet but can be due to Vancouver's humidity. Staff is very attentive and helpful, place is safe, a little noisy due to location in downtown area but not bad, was still able to get plenty of sleep.

Location was great! We were provided maps, change for the bus, weather forecasts, etc.

The Moda Hotel was a pretty great! My only complaints would have to be with the air conditioning as well as the parking. The parking was only really a pain when trying to check in just because in order to get into the gated section you have to check into the hotel and get your room key. It was all just a bit confusing at first when you're trying just to relax after a few hours of flying. The only other problem would be the air conditioning. Oh my goodness the unit that was in our room did not pump out any cold air but luckily it was cooler the week I was there. Other than these two things this hotel was really great! The Moda was only a few blocks away from restaurants ranging from fast food to some pretty fine dining as well as quite close to loads of shopping.

The furniture seemed dirty and Ghe room itself did not look clean. Not a good location to stay. People screaming in the middle of the night, police sirens going off all night.

Lots of restaurants nearby, Starbucks and McDonald's too.close to shopping. Granville island also near. Hotel very clean and room comfortable.

The hotel was near downtown and therefore public transportation was very easy. Plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby therefore it was great for our trip. Windows didn't seem to block the noise from outside and it could get loud due to the holidays....bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Great location. Small room. Walls are thin, could hear my neighbor playing his TV loud until late. Staff was friendly and bar connected to the lobby was trendy and had good drinks.

Close to many stores, restaurants & landmarks. Hotel floor is lop-sided & room feels small.

Minimalist style but had everything needed. Reasonably priced for downtown location. Staff was very helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

We were able to walk to Canada Place to board our cruise. Also close to the Tower for viewing the city.

Checked in, went to room given and walked in on another guest, very imbarasing. Clerk said it was computer error. she did give us a free breakfast. But something like that should never happen. The elevator was broken the day we checked out, but staff, brought our bags down stairs for us. So for a one night stay there were a few glitches. The location was great, easy to get a cab, restaurants close and one connected to hotel had good food.

Central location - accessible to various activities downtown.

Kudos! Hotel's staffs were so professionally friendly. Room was great.

This place is run down. Staff was great but hotel rooms were quite run down.

Basically nowhere better to be if you want to be in the City Centre (and they'll provide earplugs if that's not quite as great as you thought it might be.) Ancient, slow, low capacity elevator so if you can't do stairs that might be a consideration for you. Wifi was a little dodgy but we were provided the password without having to ask. K-Cups for tea and coffee. Bed was very firm.Ventilation wasn't great and the hotel is vintage so it did get loud now and again. Staff was helpful and polite. Didn't try the attached hotel bar, restaurant, liquor store(!) but there they are.

Great hotel in the middle of everything. Walking to most iconic locations was a breeze. The only thing that the breakfast was a little expensive and the hotel is old but once you get past that fact everything else is great. It was a wonderful experience and comfy place to sleep at. Very clean as well.

Fantastic location..great price, clean and perfect room for being out and about all day..comfy bed..staff were friendly

I stayed here for 5 nights and it was great. The staff was very nice, the restaurants (cafe and sports bar) where classy and our room was stunning. The hotel is in a very nice part of town and is walking distance to everything.
