I've stayed here before and it's always been a good experience. This time, my friends and I got back from a concert around 12 am to find the front part of our room flooded (like the immediate walk in area). We called the front desk and they came up to help clean the mess but they only brought a few towels. He let us know that the unit next to ours (and I think possibly above as well?) had flooded so the water in our unit was leaking through the pipes and into in our room. We were up until 2 am cleaning up. They never offered to switch us to another room and instead we had to worry about water leaking all night. we didn't get any sort of compensation or deal or even an apology from the front desk staff.

Hotel was sufficient. Maids were a little pushy. I had some work to do in the mornings and they would knock to clean the room even though the do not disturb sign was on the doorknob. The breakfast staff also asked us to hurry up and leave right at 10 am sharp.

Stayed on vacation for 2 nights in early September 2025. The maintenance staff was very friendly and welcoming. While front desk was polite and knowledgeable, they weren’t very welcoming, which was off putting. Breakfast was decent though the same each day. So if you’re staying for more than a night it gets redundant fast. Liked the free shuttle service into the city and it was easy to walk the area or take the bus. Though it is close to The infamous East Hastings area, it is far enough away. They seem to be fixing and upgrading and those areas are nice and the place is clean but a lot of the hotel is rundown. So maybe in a couple months it and the area will be considerably better.
