Nice hotel, but not the best experience

The room was nice and comfortable. Great view of the surrounding building.s. Unfortunately we had been traveling 20 hours and didn’t realize the AC did not work. It was 78 degrees in the room which made for an uncomfortable night. The next day service tech showed up, and spent 2 hours trying to repair the unit so no privacy while he was there. He was unable to complete the repair but did give us two fans. and luckily the windows opened for some cooler air. For the price we paid it would have been nice if the manager could at least addressed the issue and apologized for the inconvenience

Our family of 3 recently stayed at Carmana and we were really impressed. The staff were extremely accommodating and the room spacious and clean. The area is fantastic for families, with a grocery store, eatery and starbucks directly opposite. The area is clean and felt very safe walking around with our 4 year old.

We loved our stay! The location was perfect—surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, and a market for groceries. The room was ideal for sharing with another couple, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We parked our car for the entire stay; although there was a parking fee, it was worth it for the convenience of being able to walk everywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

More than a hotel room?

What a great place to stay if you want more than a hotel room. Had a lounge, dining, kitchen and study room.very clean and close to everything, so do not hesitate to stay here next time in Vancouver.

Beautiful and unexpected space

Loved our room. We were not expecting the separate living room, kitchen and office! It was also a quick Uber ride to cruise ship port. Will definitely stay there again if in Vancouver.

Great property and very convenient location. The bathroom felt a little unclean. It may be due to the choice of tiles. Wish the hotel provided body soap as the small square soap worsened my Eczema.

We loved having a Din Tai Fung restaurant on the 2nd floor. We were able to enjoy food in our suite around 7:00 pm instead of reserving a table for dinner at 9:30pm

Had 2 rooms. 1 had a very comfortable bed, the other not so much. Both had great views. Sitting areas varied widly. Parking had in and out priviledges but hard to access. Front desk staff either very friendly and helpful or ignored you completely. Disconcerting. Area was excellent.
