The Sutton Place Hotel - Vancouver

Nice clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. The location was perfect walking distance to shopping on Robson Street.

This hotel is a surprise as it is not one of the newer breed. The room and staff were knowledgable and warm. Our room was a good size, quiet and we found the bed to be super comfortable. I had a massage in the Vida Spa. It was perfect. All in all a high mark for Sutton Place.

Great location, friendly staff. Classic hotel. Exceeded my expectation. Very recommended.

I'd rate this as a good 3-4 star hotel. Staff is great. Rooms aren't quite large. Service is good.

Excellent downtown location. Guests are treated as if they are special by the staff; extremely polite. Standard rooms not exceptional; could have been any major chain. One MAJOR complaint!! The king mattress was completely worn down on one side so one person slept in a "valley"; needed to be replaced yesterday. High charges for wi-fi, even in lobby. High charge for bottled water in room, when many moderately priced hotels offer complimentary upon arrival. TV did not work easily ; watch your charges at departure; 3 movies were incorrectly added to our bill.

This was our first time in Vancouver, so not knowing what to expect, we wanted to pick a hotel in the downtown area. Sutton Place is nestled between major streets in the downtown area, a short walk to shopping and restaurants, etc. However, having rented a car, we didn't get to benefit from the location as much, since getting around in Vancouver and parking wasn't the problem we feared. The hotel was quite busy, the lobby packed every time we went in and out. Our room was in the 4th floor, i.e. not much of a view and with a big party on the 2nd floor very noisy. The bed and pillows were the least comfortable we experienced at any hotel. If we had to do it again, we would probably opt for a place with better comfort and not pay this much for the location.

Most hotels offer free Wi-Fi. This one did not, and it charged you a premium. Parking was also not included, and it was extremely expensive.

Great hotel Great location Nice room Enjoyed the hotel and restaurants

I will never stay anywhere else in Vancouver. Courteous staff, beautifully furnished, spotless. Old world charm, felt like home. Was upgraded from premium king room to a one bedroom king suite - extremely happy and quite honestly didn't want to leave! Great gym. Wonderful access to shops and restaurants. LOVE The Sutton Place Hotel!

We were pleased to pay such a reasonable rate for a 4 1/2 star hotel room. The hotel staff is very accomodating. The location is ideally situated for shopping. Parking at $40 seemed a bit excessive for one night but we've paid it for all 6 times we've chosen this hotel. We'll be back.

Location near hop on/off bus....meal at pub very good

Excellent comfortable bed nice furnishings near many downtown visitor attractions including both trendy and modest eateries. Recommended!

Great location and great comfort. Highly recommend. Staff was well trained and attentive

Beautiful hotel and top notch restaurant. It was Christmas and the hotel was decorated nicely - ver festive. My only complaint is that the pool and hot tub were overused - packed and dirty.

We always love to stay here. Great location and luxury hotel.

The service at breakfast was friendly and professional. The rooms were clean, albeit small. The best part about the hotel is its central location.

The hotel has good location Facilties are great Food iss good

We stay here every time we come to Vancouver. Free wifi would be nice but otherwise great hotel and love the location.

My partner and I had a staycation at the Sutton. We love it's location, it's glamour and it's style. Had an unexpected turn down service - i didn't realise hotels still put chocolates on pillows - which was a nice touch. Room amenities were lovely. Small shower, big bath. The tv remotes were both a bit weak though. I'm guessing over use or low batteries, meant they didn't work that great. Wifi should be free.

Went for our anniversary and found the hotel to be just perfect! Right on the corner of Robson, great for walking the shopping streets and all the restaurants nearby. However, we enjoyed the swank and newly opened Boulevard restaurant in the hotel. Rooms were just perfect. Only complaint is that the A/C in the room seems to be older and it popped and make crackled all night long.
