Excellent location with a true Parisian vibe. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and super comfortable. Only feedback I would give the management is the install a handle on the bathroom doors. Without a handle, the sliding bathroom door could not be locked. This was the case with both the rooms we had.

Stayed over night for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is lovely, and very charming- old Victorian style. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time and like to thank the front desk clerk for complementary wine and chocolates as a gift. Was just a little confused with the parking. It said valet parking, but you actually self park. Check in first, get an access code from the front desk, and pull around/into the alleyway to the left to park underground the hotel. If you are looking for a hotel located central in the heart of Vancouver, I would recommend this one. Very close to eateries, museums, and downtown.

We always have a lovely stay at La Soleil. Staff is always helpful and we love having the extra space with the separate bedroom layout. Perfect for a family of 4. Location is great too between Robson and Pacific Place waterfront.

The hotel was charming and extremely comfortable. Hooray for a television you can Google cast to. The neighborhood is very walkable and staff is friendly. Breakfast isn't technically free. It is a $25 charge. No valet parking when we visited, but it was easy enough to access garage. We will definitely stay there again the next time we want to spend time in downtown Vancouver.

Great hotel, great location. Can't say enough good things. If there's one thing you MUST do, it's get the included breakfast. Other than one mythical breakfast buffet we had in Stuttgart once (fresh honeycomb?!), it's the best hotel breakfast we've ever had, made fresh at the attached French restaurant.
