Bad odor permeated room and property. No air conditioning in room; it was a hot August night so we had to open windows which made it hard to sleep from the noisy street outside I wouldn’t stay here again
Very good Staff courteous and helpful Room good View fantastic Met every need Extra time for checkout Thanks
While room may be older...it was clean and convenient. Definitely recommend for the price compared to other hotels.
Contrary to hype, Vancouver is an extremely gloomy city most of the year with its nearly constant rain and clouds. It is dirty and sports one of the highest crime rates in Canada. It is also one of the most exorbitantly expensive cities on the planet. We thought we had "scored" when we found this hotel going for roughly half the pride of countless surrounding downtown hotels. Well the old adage applies, "you get what you pay for". The room sported a broken window, cracked and discolored trim, paint peeling off the walls, baseboard heaters dangling from the wall, ancient and decrepit kitchen appliances circa 1956, creepy elevator with no panel lights.... you name it.
Was a decent stay. Stayed 2 nights had no problems. Parking a little tight but we got a spot. Room was like an apartment with its own stove etc. A little old but clean and comfortable. Lots of food places nearby walking distance and a 24 hour cafe. It's about 20 minutes from the airport and a taxi costs $35. I heard there's a train from the airport that can take you near to this hotel for around $3 though so do your research into that, not too sure myself. I would stay here again.
The hotel is nice. It is in a great location. The rooms are clean, but just need to be updated. Overall, They are roomy and comfortable. Great Value.
I had room 1102 which is on the west end of the building, there is a bedroom, a living room, a restroom, and one kitchen.
Location is good. Terrible conditions.
The best part of this hotel is the location and price but the price speaks for itself with the room condition. The property is old, outdated, no air conditioning, no patio or window screens, stained carpeting.
This hotel is a Hidden Jewel, it has an spectacular view, kitchenette is very convenient, is not a fancy modern resort, but the hotel location is close to stores, downtown and couple blocks form the Canada Line Skytrain.
