Rosedale On Robson Suite Hotel

As my ratings indicate, this is a first class hotel with nice staff, but I would never stay there again. Because of weather problems we missed our connecting flight and arrived in Vancouver a day later than planned. Although we notified the hotel very early in the evening, management still insisted on charging us for the room. Their attitude seemed to be profit first, helping the customer a distant second.

a bit of confusion on check in .resolved quickly.the shower didn't work, basin drained very slow.nothing major.

Unbelievable. Loved Vancouver. Hotel right in the heart beat of Vancouver.

Staff friendly and helpful. Walking distance to good restaurants. Nice neighborhood. Cleaning woman (Natasha) very accommodating and deserving of a raise. Bedroom clean and comfortable. However: Parking garage scary, no visible security cameras. Elevator made of Cinder blocks(?) and looks like belong in horror film. Lobby and hallway rugs dirty and stained. Light switch in our entryway also controlled bedroom lights and bathroom light. The side of our bathroom vanity was separated, and held together with packing tape.

Nice hotel and great place to stay with quick access to ship port & airport

Stayed here two years in a row - great location, spacious rooms, super friendly staff! While I should probably experience other hotels in Vancouver, I'm pretty sure this property will be my official go-to any time I visit the city! Thanks for another great visit, Rosedale on Robson!

Spacious clean room. Great location In downtown. We had 3 in our party and they gave us a suite with 2 bedrooms.

Started off with great meal and beer at Original Joe's bar/grill, accessible from hotel lobby. Room was upgraded to suite at no charge (thanks!!), with stunning views of downtown and mountains behind. Concierge was awesome! Booked us tickets for Stanley Park horse-drawn tours, and directed us to public transit up to park. Later, concierge helped us with cabs to get down to Queen Elizabeth Park for dinner at Seasons. And you're right next to BC Place soccer/sport stadium, if you have plans to catch a game. Wonderful central location, easy to get to waterfront and lots of restaurants nearby (oh, and a GREAT little croissant shop just across from lobby for breakfast!). We really loved our stay at Rosedale on Robson, and would gladly book there again when we return to Vancouver BC.

Excellent location, many food choices, library and bus stops are very convenient. The air conditioner would not allow you to set to a comfortable temp. Also the air handler was extremely noisy.

I spent three nights with a granddaughter & sister in celebration of a milestone birthday & an anniversary. I was surprised & delighted to find a special treat in our room when we arrived! The room is comfortable & the views of Vancouver are very nice. The little kitchenette actually had a stove, microwave, refrigerator & eating equipment. The pool is shallow & somewhat small, but good enough for me. The hot tub was great! The staff were responsive, friendly, and polite. We left our car in their lot and used public transportation or walked to wherever we wanted to go. Good restaurants are within a block or three. My only wish is that the bedroom and sitting area were reversed so you could enjoy the views while awake in the sitting room. This was my second time at this hotel and I expect to continue coming.

We enjoyed staying here. It was so nice to have a sitting room, kitchen and bedroom. The bed was really comfortable. The shower was strong and hot. We stayed for a week and could have comfortably stayed longer. Everyone was nice. There's plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance. We had a corner room on a higher floor so we had a very nice view. The elevators can be slow but we weren't in a hurry so it didn't matter to us.

Only reason I didn't give full 5 is because of the noise level. The furnace made a loud pop every time it turned on and there was metal clicks all through the night a one our room.

I loved the location of the hotel, it's close to everything and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The room is clean and comfortable. The downside of staying here is the HORRIBLE wifi. That is, if you can even connect and get a solid connection. It's been a year since I've stayed here last and there's still no improvement. Besides that, I would stay here for convenience. It's a place to sleep comfortably and shower. Hopefully wifi will improve in the future.

Hotel is an easy walk to every attraction--Yaletown, Chinatown, Stanley Park and Granville Island. The hotel has spacious rooms, great views and it is very quiet at night. A large variety of restaurants are a short walk away. But if you want to eat in the room, the microwave, refrigerator and little stove are perfect for an evening in. I have stayed here twice and it is perfect for the traveler. I highly recommend it.

The elevator or front desk was old but the room was cleaned and large enough to stay for 2 adults and 3 kids. It was comfortable to stay.

I needed a hotel room within walking distance of the downtown core, and this fit the bill perfectly. That it also has underground parking for a very reasonable rate is a bonus. I only stayed one night, so didn't really need the extra space and the kitchenette of the suite, but if I were staying longer, it would have been ideal to be able to fix breakfast, relax with a nice glass of wine, etc. in the convenience of my own room. I ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant/bar, and it was reasonably priced and satisfactory. I will definitely stay here next time I need to be in Vancouver.

Able to check in early and leave car later on the dat we checked out. Great location. Close to Rogers Arena for hockey, Yaletown for cocktails and dinner and and nice walk to Gastown for coffee.

The location is great, it's close to the stadium if you're going to any events. It's walking distance from many restaurants and shops which is very convenient. The room was clean, the beds were decently comfortable. The wifi was fast and working perfectly fine. Parking is limited if you drive a truck. Overall, I would stay here again when visiting Vancouver.

Room was out dated. Light switch was very confusing. In order for the lights to work the main switch had to be turned on. Used the bathroom in the dark not knowing the switch was off. Elevator was very slow.

I love this hotel and Will be recommend it to my friends. The suite was clean. Located in the center of vancouver. The staff were pleasant. we were even upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. The only thing that my son complained was the Wi-Fi. It was a little slow.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We will pass on your comments to Natasha. We do have 24 hr security personnel and cameras in the public areas. The light switch (master switch) is part of the energy saving program but it can be confusing. Jim Miller General Manager
