Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver

My colleague and I shared a room at this hotel just last weekend for 3 nights. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, both during check-in/check-out and with respect to holding our luggage after check-out. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-kept. The beds were comfortable and there was cable TV provided during downtime. The location itself is right in the middle of downtown Vancouver, and so the CF Pacific Mall is right across the street, while Robson street (which is full of food and shopping) is no more than a 5 minute walk. I will definitely be staying here again in the future when I visit Vancouver again.

Close to the train & bus stations. Walking distant to the water front.

Exceptional front desk service and overall great hotel!

My entire family (6 adults and a toddler) stayed in this hotel over a weekend in couple of rooms on the same floor. I've been to Vancouver few times and I think this is one of to better ones to stay. Staff is friendly, and have assisted us with a free microwave to heat food and milk for my kid. They also helped me remove my roof rack and installed it before our departure as our van exceeded the height restrictions with it on. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent!! dining experience in the hotel. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced.

nice location and stuff, highly recommend! I will go back again

GREAT location, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, large room and large bathrooms! Everything you need in a quality hotel. Would stay again!

This is a great comfortable hotel in the heart of the city. The hop on hop off tourist bus stops right in front making it perfect for tourists. Plus it's right. Around the corner from the art museum. One complaint the beds are author too mushy for me and made my back ache, but other than that it's great it's quiet and beautifully maintained.

The location was great. Fro the cost I would have expected more services. Suitable choice for business trips. May be better options for vacation stays

Stayed here for a Trade Show weekend -- my 2nd time, and very happy. One of the few hotels where WiFi is free, and that is appreciated for a working weekend. Staff is really friendly, and I was allowed to check in early.

Great place to stay. Helpful and friendly staff. Ate breakfast in restaurant - very good service and great food.

The restroom was great (showers, bathtub and sinks). The beds were good, but it was smaller than what I typically expect (probably because the restroom was so large). The parking wasn't complimentary so I had to shell out $40 /day for it. The TV wasn't even HD and it was small. For the most part, it was pretty good for downtown area.

Exceeded expectations in every respect We arrived at 10 am to drop our bags until check - in at 3 pm. We were told our room was ready and waiting and we could occupy immediately. Staff couldn't't do enough to help and the location is ideal for both downtown and harbour area. Will definitely visit again

fantastic room, a-MAYzzzzzzzzing bed - i felt like a care bear sitting on my cloud. i could lie down flat in that tub, loved that (i'm 5'3''). couldn't ask for a better location. definitely the best area to stay in. skytrain nearby goes right to airport for less than $10 - can't beat that. great, attentive staff. i wouldn't stay anywhere else if i visited again

The staff was exceptional. The concierge, Nathalie, was the best! She really helped with organizing our week long trip, took care of dinner reservations, etc. The hotel restaurant named Diva was a pleasant surprise for both breakfast and a late dinner. The room was clean and well maintained. The only two negative comments were that the soft goods in the room, bath sheets, towels, bath mat, etc, were a bit worn and frayed. Second, the televsion system/tv were out of date and had limited selections. Overall, great location, exceptional staff, and well worth the price on Orbitz.

Nice hotel but parking was 40 dollars a day. Close to Canada Place.

Very nice staying. Great service. Great location.

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel for a little getaway for some time to ourselves. We enjoy the hotel, but the deluxe queen room isn't so deluxe. The tvs are old. There is no stereo. There is no dvd player. There are pretty much no up to date electronics. There is no fan in the bathroom. Seems like a small room that was once luxurious but now is out of date. Its still nice, just not up to the standard I might have expected for the price. That said, its the cheapest hotel in downtown vancouver - and thats also what you are paying for - the location. Location is PERFECT. Service was great, too. Park in the pacific centre mall underground on the opposite street and save 30 dollars or so a night. I would, overall, highly recommend this place for its price, location, service, and comfort.

Great location and service. Beautiful weather and friendly people. Right across the four season witba fraction ofthe price. Room is tastefully decortated. Free wifi too! We'll be back soon!
