Hyatt Regency Vancouver

4.5 out of 5.0

The hotel was busier than normal due to conferences but the staff did a stellar job in getting the room ready in time. The location of the property is fantastic - close to transit and very walkable. Did not need a car for the entire stay.

This hotel is right next to the Burrard train station for easy access to the rest of the city. Also the bus stops right out front of the hotel. The club access room gives access to the club room which has breakfast and horderves. For us it was a great deal! All of the staff was friendly and helpful. If you are going to Whistler and book Pacific Coach lines, the bus picks up right out front of this hotel. So this was a perfect location for our Vancouver/Whistler vacation.

There was a power issue in the evening between 11pm and 5 am the power was to be off. We sleep with c pap machines. They never told us until check in. The manager called marriott hotel, and I am glad he did. After staying at the marriott I would never stay at the Hyatt. Better rooms with a better water view. The staff there was amazing!

The Hyatt Regency is a great business travel hotel. Rooms are well appointed, and the location is very convenient in the city.

Nice hotel in the middle of downtown. Convenient location to walk everywhere especially the shopping centers! Gingerbread house displays in the lobby were beautiful to look at.

Bathroom is poorly lit for any make up job, room is clean, desk is good, bed is good, staff was professionally friendly, info about breakfast time and mode is unclear and varying, food was mediocre, interior is mid-cycle.

Great location in heart of downtown. Lots of things to do and see within walking distance

It was a nice and cheap stay. The only downside is lack of power sockets in the room

Great hotel room. Beds were comfortable. Best part aas the staff in the restaurant. Breakfast included in the room charge was a great deal as breakfast buffet top notch.

It was my first visit to Vancouver and celebrating a personal milestone with some friends . The front desk guy was very welcoming and polite and even upgraded us without extra cost. The next day after a day of shopping we came back to our room with a complementary bottle of wine as another welcome to Canada. I felt very special. Thank Hyatt Regency for one of the best welcoming ever!!!

Like the convenience and location of the hotel. Really enjoyed the Waterfront area and the Steam Powered Gas location near there.

It is an old hotel and needs a makeover. You don't get the value what you pay for. I would look into another hotel next time

This was a great location for my needs. The room was very comfortable and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for walking the city. Lots of amenities close by. Staff were VERY helpful. Overall a great stay.

Very pleasantly surprised, room was large and fantastic. Great view of the city. Very friendly staff and awesome service! Hotel is in a great location, close to everything.

Would totally recommend this. great location to the cruise terminals. Ordered room service breakfast, and was always pleasantly pleased. Starbucks in the lobby came in handy a few times. The hotel bars (two of them) were also quite relaxing to watch a playoff hockey game, and enjoy a well-made cocktail.

I visited the Hyatt Vancouver for a weekend getaway, the staff was extremely friendly- we even asked if we could get upgraded to a room with a view, which they happily accommodated, we were on the 25th floor I believe and had a spectacular view of the city, mountains and harbor. The room was very well maintained and spotlessly clean- huge floor to ceiling windows, which made the view, even that much more amazing. Very convenient location, we rarely had to drive anywhere, they have a Starbucks in their lobby which made grabbing a quick snack/drink very easy. The only thing I would have to say is that parking is a bit pricey and complicated (you have to park in a garage shared with the shopping center next door, it's a better value to just pay per day thru them, rather than purchasing a hotel parking pass- luckily the concierge fully explained parking options and what would be a better value, which was appreciated)

Great location near everything! Very modern and good value for money. Would stay here again.

The hotel wad in a great location. The room was spacious with a great view of downtown. Shopping and other anemities are within walking distance and the Skytrain station is next door. The onky downside is the internet is not included.

The hotel was in a good location with lots of local shops inside (Starbucks, Tim Hortons, drug store, and McDonalds). Only a short walk from anything in downtown Vancouver.
