Only the shower is acceptable. Cleanliness is horrible.

I have never stayed in a hotel room as disgusting as this one. When we first walk in, we notice that the carpet has been horribly stained. There were holes from cigarette burns, and it looked as if they had never even vacuumed. The walls in the bathroom and the shower were filled with mold. On the cabinet in the bathroom, there was a piece of tape labeled "$5." If you pulled the tape back, it revealed that it was originally from a box of insulin syringes. The sheets were stained with ink, and some other unknown stain that I don't even want to guess at. There was a cigarette burn in the mattress cover, which they had covered with duct tape. The heater did not work at all and the room was constantly freezing. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. Absolutely disgusting!

Well, we were rather hoping for a nice (not ritzy), but more than regular hotel for New Years. While this place is NOT a dump, the upkeep is poor. The staff seemed confused by basic questions and made mistakes with deposit and room keys. When we got to our hall, I asked my partner if there had been a bear attack...sooo...there's that. . Bed was pretty uncomfortable and room doesn't ventilate at all. Staff handles this by leaving the heat on full blast to try to dry the room...and your skin. I hate to leave a poor review, but when you are paying a certain price point, you expect a higher standard. Neighborhood questionable, too.

Staff was pleasant, building was under reconstruction, carpet were soiled, TV didnt work in one room, downsized to a cheaper room and charge full price as premium room. Ask to put up and addition 200.00 after paying on line. DONT EVER DUE PAY NOW, IT MEANS NO REFUND FOR ANY REASON.

The price was not cheep, then we expected a better facilities, examples: TV was and old TV (still a big one in the back, that didn't work properly), the bathrooms in the reception never worked, the walls need paint all over the hotel, looks like need some money to invest in the business.

No WiFi, no breakfast included, noisy people, don't have laundry detergent for sale at the front desk. Need deposit at check in and only one room key provided.

One of the worst hotel that I have stayed - poor room facilities and conditions, dirty carpet, broken TV (CRT TV which I have not seen for 10 years), dirty curtain...

Very nice staff but building is very old. Needs to be updated. Safe neighborhood.

Very outdated but good location. Overall it was ok.

The hotel is located near the sky train. We were charged $10 for a towel that was stained? That's what bleach is for. The staff printed maps for us to find our way around.

This is not the best hotel, you have yo pay for wifi and breakfast is not included.

We don't mind dated rooms, but we were told it was a smoking room, and it wasn't, We weren't willing to walk down the stairs and go out front. We didn't really check the room very well, but it seemed okay enough for the price. We decided to leave, and they gave us a full refund. Beware though, they charge a $120 damage deposit. If you don't have the cash, it will be an extra charge on your credit/debit card, and may not get a refund back for a few days, "processing time".

good location, friendly/helpful staff (Sophie and Sam), but the room is a bit old and not very clean. (had hair in the bathtub, and the glasses were not that clean either.)

The price I paid via here was considerably higher than one I was shown when I checked in. Their was no carpet under part of the bed and the bed frame wheels were embedded in pain concrete. No face cloths and almost an empty roll of toilet paper, but another was provided when we asked for it. On the plus side it does have secured parking.

The hotel is dated and many places show sigh of wear and tear. Faucet works but cannot control flow of cold water (full on or dripping). Air conditioner works but cannot set high/low air. Gym room has functional mill, but tirm board is falling apart. Overall, the hotel is a good location with friendly stuff. However, the location is showing its age.

This is a basic hotel, with very helpful staff. It is clean, convenient & inexpensive. It was good for us, who wanted a clean place to sleep & do sight seeing for the whole day

Desk staff were great. Free parking and easy entrance from Kingsway. Cost $9 for internet.

The room was decent but nothing special. Internet was not included in base price -- this is just an obnoxious way to nickel & dime guest. Needlessly inefficient check-in & check-out procedures.

everything is not bad for this price, but a little bit old...

Was not expecting it has everything specially a big TC screen for us to play PS3 :P
