Close to all sight seeing places. Far from butchart garden only.

Location was amazing, pleasant staff and wonderful ambiance. We rented bikes on property- everyone is so helpful with recommendations. Breakfast staff had wonderful service. Will visit again!

Old property much in need of an update. AC unit in windows, windows locked shut. So no fresh air available on a cool day. Locked windows don’t feel safe to me. Code? Some staff were great. Old salty waitress at breakfast is overwhelmed by her job and is not terribly pleasant. She wreaked of smoke too. Overall we were unimpressed but had a fairly pleasant stay otherwise.

Great facilities and close to ferry, restaurants and other activities. Exceptional gardens and a great nights sleep

Excellent location with beautiful landscaping. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. All the staff members were helpful, especially Tracy who exchanged money and called a cab for us. Our only complaint was the first night we were there the people above us were moving stuff around while we were trying to go to sleep. It sounded like they didn’t have carpeted floors because it was very loud. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you want to have tea at the tea house, make sure you make a reservation.

Unique buildings with a lot of charm. Our room was huge with a kitchen. Simple, perfect for our long weekend out of town.

Outstanding location and reasonable rates. This is an older hotel and nosier than others. It's located across the street from the James Bay, Victoria BC, ferry and within walking distance to the bay area shopping and attractions.

Very pleasant staff, clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant was wonderful. Only downside is it was noisy- you could hear the water pipes and other guests.

This is a nice middle of the road hotel. Has A/C window units so that was appreciated. Plenty of hot water. Bed was comfy. Only negatives were our key didn't work and there was water dripping inside the window around 1 am. It woke me up but I put a towel on the sill. Fixed!

At time of our visit this property was very well priced for the great access to ferry from Port Angeles and easy walking all over downtown, harbor area, fisherman's wharf etc. Fairly comfortable, helpful friendly staff.

We came from Seattle on the Clipper so right across the street was the Huntington Manor and that was super convenient! We loved the comfy, quiet room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and we even rented bikes to tour the city. Wonderful! I'd absolutely go there again!

This hotel is a short walk from the Blackball Ferry from Port Angelus WA. There are multiple restaurants in either direction downtown Victoria or Fishrrman's Wharf. A bike shop is on the grounds of the hotel and has reasonable rentals. Our room had a full kitchenette. We didn't do any cooking, but there was a Market within walking distance if we had wanted to do that. The complementary breakfast was decent as well.

location is good. Just the room is shabby. Breakfast is good. And free parking whole day that is very good.

very nice, with old architecture, staff were very pleasant
