We stayed in a 2 BR villa in the Evergreen Bldg. The unit had a fully updated kitchen, 3 TV's, a fireplace, laundry facilities and newspapers in the a.m. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a shuttle to take you to Vail and LionsHead shopping/restaurants. The Evergreen and Douglas buildings are close to the clubhouse where there is an indoor/outdoor pool, game rooms, racquetball, sauna, steam room, and activities for all ages. It is a short drive to Vail Town Center and LionsHead where there is plenty of shopping, lots of restaurants, a cinebistro (eat and watch a movie), beautiful trails, etc. The town of Edwards is also pretty close. There is a movie theater and several restaurants. The Douglas Building appeared to have balconies, which Evergreen did not. There is a small kids' playground and plenty of close-in parking. The round-abouts can be confusing, so know before you go, where you want to go! Be sure to add West to your Vail address. Frontage is a long road.

Used my time share exchange to stay during the off season. Our 2 bed room condo was spacious. It had full kitchen. Everything was in great shape. Loved the heater to keep warm during those cold days. Location is great because it's in a walking distance from grocery stores and other amenities. The swimming pool was great with it being half in doors half outdoors. The outdoor jacuzzi was heaven and the sauna and steam room where the cherry on top. I also enjoyed the hiking trails nearby. Looking forward to visit this hotel again.

Traveled to Vail, off season, and stayed here at the Marriott Streamside Evergreen. Our 2 bedroom condo was very nice and included laundry facility as well. Housekeeping staff was great and prompt when service was needed. Location is within walking distance to grocery stores and other amenities. Ben was at the desk when we inquired about shuttle service and he went above and beyond to help us. In all I would recommend this resort and I understand they will be undergoing a complete renovation soon.

If you are here to ski then it is fine. If you are here to spend some quality family time that involves a bit of time in your rooms then I would be disappointed. It just isn't the quality we are accustomed to with Marriott. The furniture looks worn and a balcony would go a long way. I can't complain about the beds but the sofa had seen better days and some of the cookware could stand to be updated . We generally stay at the Marriott closer to Lions Head for ease of walking but have stayed here twice this winter because of availability. Have to be honest and say I will probably hold out next time for the Marriott in Lions Head.

As a Platinum for Life Elite member and as well an owner of 5 Marriott time shares we checked in and were given wristbands to ride the shuttle. I told Ben don't bother because nobody has ever checked us for the past few years. He said they were going to be checking. I can personally say that on the 12 trips minimum we were checked maybe 5 times. Jack never checked us once, watched Rose check a few on the large bus but not one after that and so on for the rest. Tony checked the most but not all. Our stay and room was great but every year our maintenance fees go up. If your going to have a rule enforce it or quit it and stop wasting money on new bands every year.

I've stayed at this property at the birch last year. I agree with the others. The buildings are dated and by no means at marriot status. That being said. You can stay cheaply at birch. And really you're there for the skiing not the hotel room.

Scored this property at the last minute on an Interval International re-trade, and what a great decision it was! We were in a 2 bedroom villa in the Evergreen building, which was perfect for our needs. I read about the history of the property and according to what I read, the Evergreen building was actually built by Marriott developers, hence it has that Marriott feeling in terms of outside and inside features. But the whole property experience was top notch. Check in and check out were a breeze, helpful and friendly front desk staff at all times, answered our questions cheerfully and politely. Shuttle bus drivers to and from the property were also helpful and friendly. The pool/hot tub areas were clean and well tended, we also used the business services room computer and the gym is well kept in the clubhouse building as well. Our villa was spotlessly clean, the bath products had a lovely fragrance, loved the jetted tub in the master bathroom. The bed and bedding were really comfy, which is a plus as sometimes I have trouble sleeping when away from home. We didn't try any of the activities but were happy to see there were things to do every day throughout the week on site, an added plus for guests staying at the property. The whole experience, from start to finish, was really great and we are very satisfied, and hope to get another chance to stay again.

Marriott Streamside Evergreen was perfect for our stay in Vail. The shuttle bus was always available and prompt day and night. Our room was large with everything we needed with a great view. A lot of convenient parking. The hot tub and steam room were a great way to end a day of winter activities.

These condominiums are large, very well appointed, have every conceivable amenity and, yes, the view is fantastic. If you are in Vail, you love the mountains and this is a wonderful jumping off point to travel the Rockies. If you don't feel like traveling, just sit at the living room windows and watch the "mountains go by."

We booked this place with a timeshare and loved the room! The rooms are clean and large, we had a kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom, loft and 3 baths. There's a great creek down below. The hot tubs are great and there's an indoor/outdoor pool. A great place for couples, families, or friends. Lots of activities on site and a short drive to downtown vail ski area. A must visit!
