Our Streamside Villa overlooked a meandering stream. The decidious and evergreen trees hung over the water. A beautiful setting. The grill area was convenient, as was the nearby resort playground. The villa was perfectly appointed with every amenity you could need for your stay.
My wife and I spent 6 nights here but forwent the 7th because we just could not bear the thought of spending another night in the sweltering unit. We were aware that the unit had no a/c and even though we left the fans running all the time, closed the drapes to keep the sun out, each day when we returned, the temperature inside the unit was in the upper 80s. We then opened the windows overnight which brought the temperatures down a little ( mid 70s by morning) but then suffered poor sleep on top of the high temperature because of the road noise off the I 70.. the resort is great, staff super, but really think the question of lack of a/c needs to be addressed as we wouldn't come back again having traded a week at our Marriott home resort to enjoy the Vail area.
Was a bit apprehensive about this place, but ended up being pleasantly surprised. This place was very nice, clean, great setting and super great staff. Has an indoor racquetball court, exercise room, and game room. Lots of activities and s'mores! Shuttle to downtown Vail was very handy.
Needs a remodel which is planned for next year. Several things in room were broken, tv, hairdryer, fireplace as well as the main hot tub. Not up to typical marriott standards. Front desk staff are nice and helpful.
I stayed @ StreamSide 3 beautiful nights in Vail. From check-in, the Staff was above and beyond friendly. The room was in the Evergreen Building (this is the only building @ the complex with A/C). Parking in the garage is a bit freaky. The 2 bedroom condo was perfect - clean with a kitchen. Went to the Safeway across the highway and bought groceries- saved a bunch of $$ avoiding resort breakfasts / lunch. There are basic amenities, but this place is all about the clean spacious apartment and location. Perfect place from which to launch on rafting excursion to the west in Glenwood and Idaho to the east. Vail itself was awesome. Hiking to the top of Vail Mountain on the Berrypicker Trail with my 19 y.o. was a once in a lifetime experience. The mountain top Eagle Nest gondola area is awesome! Wife and girls are asking when are we going back? Recommend to anyone!!!
Best place to stay in Vail! Close to many attractions and scenic rides, e.g. Independence Pass, Aspen & the Maroon Belles, Glenwood Canyon and the Hanging Lake. Comfortable Suites, with many amenities, fire pit, barbecue grill, a short walk to Vail Village and ski resort and shops. Horseback riding, white water rafting, ATV-UTV near by, many hiking trails and of course the Colorado bike trail path. Come pay them a visit at the Marriott StreamSide Evergreen I guarantee you won't forget it!
We've been to Vail almost every summer. We trade through Interval International and take this resort whenever it is offered. In the past, the resort had some shortcomings. We always leave some feedback and come back to see some improvements, sometimes major improvements. On this visit the resort staff made every effort to make our stay very enjoyable and peaceful. We got a corner room (4302) that was exactly what we asked for. The resort location is excellent and it is close to everything that matters in Vail, Avon, and Beaver Creek. There is an awesome hiking trail from the resort to Vail Village. Most of the trail runs parallel to the stream. Or sit by the stream and enjoy the fire by stream at night (someone will always start it). The only negative or minus is the sofa in the living room. It is very uncomfortable and not a sight for the eyes. Overall, this is a very nice and beautifully located Marriott in one of the most beautiful cities anywhere in the world,
We stayed in a 2 BR villa in the Evergreen Bldg. The unit had a fully updated kitchen, 3 TV's, a fireplace, laundry facilities and newspapers in the a.m. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a shuttle to take you to Vail and LionsHead shopping/restaurants. The Evergreen and Douglas buildings are close to the clubhouse where there is an indoor/outdoor pool, game rooms, racquetball, sauna, steam room, and activities for all ages. It is a short drive to Vail Town Center and LionsHead where there is plenty of shopping, lots of restaurants, a cinebistro (eat and watch a movie), beautiful trails, etc. The town of Edwards is also pretty close. There is a movie theater and several restaurants. The Douglas Building appeared to have balconies, which Evergreen did not. There is a small kids' playground and plenty of close-in parking. The round-abouts can be confusing, so know before you go, where you want to go! Be sure to add West to your Vail address. Frontage is a long road.
Used my time share exchange to stay during the off season. Our 2 bed room condo was spacious. It had full kitchen. Everything was in great shape. Loved the heater to keep warm during those cold days. Location is great because it's in a walking distance from grocery stores and other amenities. The swimming pool was great with it being half in doors half outdoors. The outdoor jacuzzi was heaven and the sauna and steam room where the cherry on top. I also enjoyed the hiking trails nearby. Looking forward to visit this hotel again.
Traveled to Vail, off season, and stayed here at the Marriott Streamside Evergreen. Our 2 bedroom condo was very nice and included laundry facility as well. Housekeeping staff was great and prompt when service was needed. Location is within walking distance to grocery stores and other amenities. Ben was at the desk when we inquired about shuttle service and he went above and beyond to help us. In all I would recommend this resort and I understand they will be undergoing a complete renovation soon.
