Staff was extremely friendly and check in was easy. When we arrived in our room we noticed a strange musky odor in the room. I assumed it was because it was a dog friendly room. A few nights into our stay my son was complaining something was biting him, when I removed the covers there were several fire ants on the bed. I immediately took him off the bed and saw that they were crawling up from behind the headboard. Upon looking at the floor we saw hundreds of them walking along the floor board of the bed. We immediately packed our things and went to the front desk where they put us in another room on the second floor. That room had a much more pleasant odor than the first room and we didn't have any issues for the remainder of the trip.

We checked in at this motel at 6 PM. It is located approximately five miles away from the town proper of Kingsport and is set on a small hill from which there is a view of the forest. A Shell gasoline station is at the bottom of the hill and across the highway there is a Cracker Barrel restaurant which is a one minute drive from the motel. The reception lobby has high ceilings and a sitting area. Further back is an elevator past which is a dining area. Our room was furnished with a clean king size bed, flat screen television, small microwave oven and refrigerator. Everything worked well, including the hot and cold water. A sliding door separated the sink from the toilet/shower stall. THERE IS NO BATH TUB. The bathroom area was very clean. Co The breakfast had a large variety of food and was very adequate. Complimentary USA Today and Wall Street Journal newspaper are provided.

Came to this area of VA to visit Natural Tunnel State Park in VA one day and visit Gatlinburg another. Also got to check out Kingsport and Bristol.

The check in person was friendly and efficient. The room was clean with fixtures in good condition. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The free breakfast was sufficient and well presented. The manager of the Hotel also was very helpful with a request I had so I will definitely stay here on my next visit to the area.

Room was very clean and employees were less ant and courteous.

Was perfect for a much needed sleep while passing through. Staff was very friendly and hotel was quiet and comfortable.

Good location off I-81. Cracker Barrel close by. Good value. Have to get 50 characters sooooooooooooooooooooooooy.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Shuttle to airport at 4:00am was prompt and driver was great. Will stay here again.

Had the maintenance man cleaning rooms had no cleaning ladies. The lady on night shift needs help. Stays for 2 nights and had to have keys remade. The third floor is horrible. Supposed to be non smoking but there divider doesn't do enough to block out the ones they still have has smoking

We spent the two days in the Hotel in order to attend the National Storytellers Convention in Jonesbrough. We enjoyed both. It would have been nicer if the distance to Jonesbrough was a bit less but we made the trip as did a number of other guests staying with us. We probably will return again next year to hear some of the great stories and enjoy the facilities at the Hotel. A bag for our dirty clothes would have been nice but we enjoyed our stay without it anyway! Thanks, Don

This was a normal 2 to 3 star hotel. Room was clean, I was on the second floor. There are smoking rooms in this hotel, probably because it's in Tennessee. I was told I was on a non-smoking floor and that there was smoking on the floor above mine. At night our room smelled like there were people smoking in it! I could not believe it! My advice is just to ask for the first floor next time.

Great location while we were taking our daughter to college. Very clean and the staff was very nice. Not a Marriott, but a decent place to stay.

Location in relation to airport is great. Room was clean, nice and economical place to stay. No need to pay the "jacked" up prices of the other big name motels. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Had a very good experience. No problems. Would stay there again. However, not many good restautants near-by.

Large comfortable room with HDTV. I apparently failed to specify a non-smoking room. Wish I had though as the room we were assigned to was a "smoking" room. Still, this room was fantastic and a great value.

Motel was very clean and new. Staff very nice. Only bad thing was it was at an exit that only had a Cracker Barrell, Wendy's and Subway. Had to travel to next exit to eat or shop. I was job searching so it was easy to get Johnson City, Bristol, and Kingsport within minutes.

Thie hotel is ok for the money.
