Newly renovated and it was nice. The staff was friendly and it is in a prime location next to the island.
I booked a room with a balcony and a view. I was given the worst room in the entire hotel, room 205! No balcony, facing the street with all the noise that comes with that. It is a small room, nothing special about it. I asked to be switched to another room since this isn’t what I paid for, I was told they were sold out and don’t have anything left. The front desk employee wouldn’t refund me the money when I told him that I won’t be staying here! They just ruined my night.

The cleanliness was wonderful but our room smelled like feet. The breakfast was not as great as I expected and was probably less than Hampton inn quality.
We previously stayed at Margaritaville in Gatlinburg 3 different times and absolutely LOVED it! We thought we would try Pigeon Forge. We were so disappointed and wish we would have stayed in a cheaper hotel on the strip. All the things we loved in Gatlinburg was a total disappointment in Pigeon Forge. There was no bar, the pools and the hot tub were way too small, and the front desk was not friendly at all. I realize now that it’s probably the difference between the Resort and the Inn which I didn’t notice when I booked. This was our first time staying in Pigeon Forge rather than Gatlinburg and it will be our last unfortunately. Huge Disappointment!
