Although I am giving a high rating it’s for the room and staff but when I got to the hotel I am told that my Deluxe queen suite with sitting area pull out couch and kitchen was no longer available and someone else had my room . I ended up with a small 1 queen bed and a cot . I was not happy as I planned 4 months ago . My friends and I were getting together for Xmas weekend . The cot was NOT comfortable. But the lady at the front desk tried her best to make a horrible situation ok . She got all 3 of us freebreakfast . And arranged for us to stay at another hotel with 2 queens . But we decided to stay . How they can give away a room I paid for months ago is a mystery to me . Tried not to let it ruin our Xmas moods and moved on and had a good time .

The hotel was very clean, close to the theatres, shopping, and tourist attractions. There is a restaurant on site as well as a great retro diner next door.Would definitely stay here again!

Seemingly renovated rooms/property. Conveniently located near metro (TTC) line, near major mall (Eaton Centre) in heart of downtown Toronto. Hospital across street. Room felt upscale and elegant. Front desk staff - longer than expected wait time to check-in. Communication style seemed slightly abrupt. Didn't impact overall stay but did affect first impressions of hotel. Breakfast - paid for with room and it was an a la carte offering.
