Respite from cross-country move

We made a big move from Salt Lake City, Utah to Land O Lakes, FL and knew we had to stay in a vacation rental because new home being built wouldn't be ready on time. We came with our motorhome and multiple cars (my daughter/son in law/baby were coming with us). We were SO GLAD when we landed at the vacation rental. Previously we had cleared with the owner that we could park all these cars (4) plus motorhome on driveway. We had storage for motorhome, but was nice to be able to clean it all out before moving to storage. The house has an odd layout from having added on, but there were several "dead zones" of space where we were able to bring in all the things that had traveled in our vehicles and that we bought once we got into town for our new home. The house was clean - no complaints. I wish more windows had coverings, but then they would block the view (and renters might not be careful with them). The view and serenity of the lake was nice. In warmer weather, it would be really nice to take out the kayak they had on the property. There aren't a lot of vacation rental choices in LoL and we were willing to stay anywhere, but when we saw this one come up, we took a chance even though they didn't have ratings at the time (something I never do). I'm glad I did. Owner was also responsive for the few questions I reached out about prior to and during our rental. The SmartTV were nice. Unlike vacationers, we weren't there on vacation, but had a few adults that hadn't started their new jobs yet so was nice to have those comforts. I would definitely recommend.

Great house, pretty setting on the lake

House was as described and expected. Plenty of kitchen supplies, especially utensils! We had fun with the kayak (bring your own life vests) and the area was safe for walking and running in the neighborhoods nearby. It was super close to our family we came to visit so very convenient for us. We hope to visit again next year! Oh and also. I couldn’t locate a hairdryer and Dania had one delivered to me from Amazon the same day- really appreciated that!
