I've always stayed here when visiting family in Tampa, but the property has declined in recent years. For some reason, I was out in a wheelchair accessible room. You have to request room servicing, plus the housekeeping staff talks loudly to each other right outside the rooms. There was also a strange odor in the room.

Pros: The room was clean. The staff was excellent! Floors were new and walls recently painted. Beds were comfortable. Close to Starbucks, Olive Garden and bonus - IHOP right next door. Dunkin Donuts is a 1/2 hour walk. Cons: Everything was glued down - lamps, USB port, etc. Insufficient lighting. Bathroom has sliding barn door style. Tub faucet showed corrosion. Coffee maker was broken and dusty inside. The continental breakfast was very limited in selection and too short of a time to get it. The pool needed to be skimmed but it was too cold out to swim. Overall, a decent place for someone on a budget. Note: the airport shuttle only runs until 11 PM.

The cleaning staff in morning were extremely loud outside the doors and woke me up repeatedly. Rather than a quiet voice to talk they were full volume like one would expect in a stadium. No possibility of sleeping in for a first day of vacation. Glad I didn’t book multiple nights.

The stay wasn’t worth the cost of the room. The bathroom door didn’t work, there was one person at the check in desk who was responsible for replenishing the breakfast so there was little available, no room to sit, little selection of food was available. Staff was nice but the hotel felt cheap while costing twice what I would normally pay for this type of room.

Lock on the room didn't work, had to wait for like an hour in the 40 degree weather. Staff said we will looking into it, didn't until the next day after it happened for a second time. Wonderful. Great service, SIKKEEEEEEE. Also breakfast was trash, only jimmy dean bfast sammy's.

Rooms were dated and musty smelling. One person in our party had a dirty washroom. There is no elevator to the second floor so you have to carry your bags up. We would not stay here again and would not recommend.
