Sailport Waterfront Suites

Florida classic hotel on the water with great views of the bay and plenty of parking close by. Rooms are clean and cool, but unfussy. Really liked that all rooms seem to have a private balcony. The staff is outstanding; friendly and helpful. Also, check-in and out was a breeze.

Good place to stay. Everything was clean and staff was friendly.

The hotel was under remodeling during our stay. The pool was very small for so many units. The bar area was very boring. The room wa very clean and comfortable and the view was amazing!! The staff were awesome as well!! Overall stay was an 8

The property was lovely. Beautiful Bay views! The room was clean and upgraded, but the bed was uncomfortable. The sheets were rough and the mattress was weirdly firm and bouncy. The check in staff was adequately friendly. We especially enjoyed the pool bar/grill. Good food and great staff.

Love the view from my balcony / room .. Felt safe there Staff were friendly

No usable beach to swim, pool is nice. No night life.

Might be worth $80 a night.....not the $300 they charged ..... at best this is a 2.5 * hotel.... and only gets a higher rating because of the proximity to the water.... and actually I don't believe it's a hotel, people own these units and rent them out through a third party company..... the owners must be the ones who are pushing the ratings to rent the units....

Great bay view but you can hear every bump, footstep and door close for 50 ft even with the TV on. Good hotel for kids and heavy sleepers.

nice area and many things to do nice view and fireworks

Only problem was noise all night due to champion football game. The kids were very disrespectful to others dealing with spine surgery. I called front desk at 10:45 pm to complain. Noise banging screaming did not stop until 2 am

This hotel was great, near to fun, local bars and only a half hour drive to clearwater. Only dissapointment was no beach access to swim or sit on the beach. Great service, nice sunsets views and warm pool.

I just loved everything , the room the beach , friendly people , the people driving the shuttle bus , the view to the ocean , I was able to cook my on food on the stove in the hotel. Made me feel like home , my vacation hotel , will stay again

We read the reviews and viewed the pictures very carefully as we wanted to ensure a great time in Tampa. Wow were we misled. Upon opening the door to our room it reeked of stale mildew odor, the carpet was filthy including toenail clippings (GROSS), and the bathroom had hair all over the place (GROSS). We had originally booked 4 nights but aborted asap and were then given the run around by the staff who were less than willing to give us a refund. Worst experience we've ever had at a hotel by far. Thankfully we went across the road to the Westin and had a great time to salvage the trip.

Wonderful experience. Romantic. You can fish of the pier. Beach area.

The hotel/condos are in need of updating. The pull out couch bed is not comfortable at all. However the location on the Bay is amazing. The full kitchen is another added bonus. Also the use of fishing equipment is really cool. The staff was very helpful and kind. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

Rested.................! A lot...........................................!

Great location, needs an outdoor pool and better air circulation in rooms.

The Wife and I had a wonderful time there everything was perfect. She told me I got it BOOKING RIGHT!

The staff were amazing. Customer service specialists! An incredible value for your own condo with everything you'd expect. And the Tampa bay view was spectacular. My family would stay here again in a heartbeat if in the Tampa area. I'd highly recommend Sailport.

I enjoyed tampa bay and enjoyed staying at Waterfront Suites. However I was a little bummed out about having no beach access at the hotel. From what I read before booking the room was that Waterfront suites offered beach access. Another thing that was not really good was the shuttle service at the hotel. It we had to pay 30 or more round trip just to get into downtown Tampa. We wasted about 200 dollars until I realized i could just use Uber. Using Uber saved us over half the cost of the hotel's shuttle service.

Thank you for your 4 star review. We appreciate your feedback and we are glad that overall you enjoyed your stay. We would love to be able to offer a large pool, but being directly on the bay there are several restrictions for buildings and pools etc. which limit our "building" abilities to extend. We do hope that we can welcome you back in the future as a repeat guest.

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. As you mentioned, no you cannot access the water from the property (which we do not advertise), Ben T. Davis Beach is located a short 15 minute walk or 5 minutes by car. Depending on when you are staying here on the island, the weekend there will be more nightlight at the neighboring restaurant/bars on the island than you would find during the week.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. Yes we are a condo/hotel, but we have been so since were built and opened. I would love to address any issues you had, but without specifics, I cannot offer any feedback.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay due to the noise issues. We do take noise concerns very seriously and do have our security if there is an issue. We would love to be able to welcome you back in the future and we can add some requests to try to get you on a higher floor or quieter area. Unfortunately, the busier we are, the louder it would be and that goes for just about anywhere.

thank you for your review. We are glad that overall you enjoyed your stay, but are very sorry to hear about the noise issues. We apologize as we had security patrolling and attended to many noise calls. This is not a normal "group" that we have staying with us, but any time you have that many kids, there can be issues like you experienced. We do hope that we can welcome you back in the future for a much more relaxing stay!
