Great location. Most is the staff was nice but a few of them were terrible.

The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. This resulted in a nice ambiance.

This was the most unpleasant experience in a hotel for me. The only good experience in the Aloft Tampa were the valet staff. Bed is very uncomfortable, air conditioning in the room was not working. VERY SMALL SPACE. I have to get mad for them to help me with it. Complementary coffee was awful, only 1 bottle of water, staff at the front desk not friendly. I can be continuing, but I have no time to list all the downside of this MEDIOCRE hotel. I was in a Marriot at Hutchinson Island two weeks ago and there is nothing compare don’t even close, If anyone is reading this review thinks twice before reserve this hotel because with the price you are paying for this you can have better option next door in the Sheraton.

I was not a fan of the fact that you could not get room service or have anything ordered from the bar brought up to the room.

2 queen bed river view was not the same room pictured on website. The window in was about a 1/4 of the size advertises and strangely placed all the way to one side of the wall. We paid extra for a river view and the window was so small and awkwardly placed that the only way to see the river was to be standing right in front of the window. i went down to discuss with the front desk and showed them what was pictured on their website as the queen riverview room and I was told that the room pictured was the suite. I asked if we could be switched to a room with a bigger window and they said no. They did not offer anything not even an apology for clearly false advertising. I went back to my room to tell my friend that we apparently weren't given the wrong room. Once in the room i noticed a moldy smell and the ac did not seem to be working properly. Called down advised the girl at desk of issues and she immediately said "well you will be getting the same room juat on a dloor above or below" as if i made up issues to try and get a room with a bigger window or something. I said that is fine. New keys were sent up and no issues with the new room other than the same crappy small window. Valet is required and costs $24 / day, definately over priced for area. On the positive note the bartender was nice and attentive. The food was just ok.

Mediocre..The gentleman who checked us in and out was nice, but the girl who we asked for another 30 minutes to checkout was Miss frowny - just shook her head - not even a verbal response. Rooms Spartan contemporary style. Not our thing. Noisy. Can hear all going on in rooms above. Worked in a pinch but don't plan on staying here, again.

The hotel was nice. The first room they had me in smelled strongly of bleach so they moved me with no hesitation. Great valet service and in walking distance from most bars and restaurants.

This is a little hotel right next to the Riverwalk. The heated pool and fire pit, right outside the bar have a balcony overlooking the Riverwalk. It is the most picturesque stroll in the city. It was walking distance to Amalie Arena the art museum and lots of downtown attractions. The room was clean and the bathroom modern and cool. Free WIFI worked well. Breakfast was limited, but quick and inexpensive. Coffee free and good. Valet parking only $20/day.

Great Location in the middle of downtown on the river. Cool, hip, clean vibe.

Nice location. Room was clean and comfortable. Great amenities. Lobby was really cool.

The hotel had a strange odor in the lobby. There was also a yellow "wet floor" sign in the elevator. I thought it was there after cleaning, but it seemed to take up permanent residence in the elevator. The elevators buttons were also grimey. My room was clean, though!

Easy check in , facilities clean , staff excellent

We were there for the game in Tampa and the hotel was perfectly located. The location could not be beat and having the river walk right there was great. The room was perfect for a family of four. The issue I had was no one helped me link my spg account and Marriott account.

Overall, it was a nice hotel. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. However, you have to valet your car, which they don't mention when you book and that fee is automatically charged to your room. Rooms have free wi-fi though.

Very nice hotel, nice pool and bar, great location, friendly staff, room is super hip and roomy. Couple of complaints...bed was really hard, but some people like that. Our room was close to the elevator and it "dings" at every floor at it woke me up A LOT. Besides those couple of things this is a a great hotel.
