Easy full service facility, offering pool, bar, restaurant in house in close proximity too all stores, restaurants and malls. Friendly staff, safe neighborhood.

Something about the place seemed a little flimsy and run down. Not at all sound proof and construction workers on the pool side were loud and using abusive language. As a result, we didn't feel inclined to hang by the pool or order from the tiki bar. A lot of cigarette smoke smell out and around the rooms and pool area and butts all over the walkway. TV remote didn't work very well, and toilet was constantly running (I meant to notify staff of this). Staff was super friendly, however, and the location was convenient for me--I was in town to play a show at Amalie Arena, which was about 15 min by car. Overall, I think this place was way overpriced for what it was.

ok for a last minute booking for a necessary overnight near the airport.

This is an older motel that was remodeled. In a residential neighborhood. Not far the airport and had a shuttle service. The bartender at the pool bar was very friendly. The room was very large. Every night there were very large flies that I think came out of the bathroom vent. Other than that it was good place to stay for 1 night to be near the airport.

I booked a suite here for a bachelor party as I was the best man. The room was nice, clean and honestly better than expected for the price. What really stood out was the staff though. About halfway through the night the groom had had a little too much alcohol and started to get violent. He then proceeded to trash the room so I had to cancel the night and go explain the situation. They were very understanding and patient, when he came down trying to fight I expected them to call the cops but instead helped the party calm him down and went ahead and let me cancel the room paying a very minimal fee for the things he had broken. This is my first time writing a review like this but I felt that their staff deserved it at the very least. Definitely recommend the place but don’t drink too much....

The staff and hotel have not lost the art of great customer service. We stayed there after a delayed flight prior to our cruise. Their transportation is top notch. Followed me to airport to drop rental car off and return to hotel. Next day had a personal driver bring us to cruise port so we wouldn't be late for our check in time. Breakfast at the onsite restaurant is very good. Would definitely stay again.

I had an overnight in tampa and needed something close to the airport. The hotel is about 15 minutes away, which is about a $11-14 luft/uber ride away. The website says they offer a free shuttle but it only runs from 9am - 9pm. When i checked in, the staff was really nice and friendly. She answered all of my questions in terms of where would uber pick me up, how far away the airport was, what time i should leave, etc. upon entering my room, the light switches did not work, the lamps by the bedside did not work, the room had a weird smell, the bed was really creaky, and the room was humid/warm. When I went to leave the hallway smelled of Marijiana. On my checkout, it was early in the morning and no one was in the lobby; the staff member did not offer to help me with my bags

Lady at desk was polite. My room was around back near pool and I could park right outside my room. Room was large and looked clean. Beds made up nice with towel swans on them. Bathtub had black bug running around in it which I killed immediately. I went to take a shower and had the worst time trying to turn on shower, the fixtures in the shower very old and corroded so wouldn't lift to turn on shower part. I had to really pull and still never got all the water to transfer to shower, I pulled so hard faucet was moving in wall I thought it was going to come out of the wall. So I took a quick shower with water running from tub faucet and some from shower head. Water was hot which was nice. Floors not as clean as I thought after getting out of shower and walking on tile floors for about 20 min my feet where filthy I had to go rewash my feet in tub and put shoes on. As I was getting into bed I saw another 3 of those black bugs running across the floor right near my bed, as you can guess I killed the 2 I caught and didn't sleep very well that night knowing it still running around with god knows how many others! Could be a decent place with a little bit of bug spray and some small upgrades but right now I was disappointed. Oh and the room coffee maker is AWFUL

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only complaint I'd have is that the tile flooring amplifies noises between rooms. I know carpet wears out quickly but it does provide a great deal of noise damping.

Comfortable room, wish there were maybe more amenities. But overall nice and quiet, and my room was right next to the pool so I was a little worried it would be loud. Very nice staff and they were very helpful.

The hotel is extremely outdated. The bathroom is weathered and worn down. Check out was painful. I waited for 10min for someone to come to the desk. I ended up just leaving the keys and a note.

I chose to stay here do to the hotel having a sauna, gym and tiki by pool. Sauna was out of order, gym was creepy, tiki by pool was full of weirdo's. Not a welcoming atmosphere. Walking by rooms to pool could smell marijuana. They only gave us 1 towel and two wash clothes. Bed very uncomfortable and cheep box springs made it Creek and crackle when you moved or turned. Hotel In desperate need for upgrade.

The mattress are old and uncomfortable . Not like the pictures online. Very run down. Didn't feel safe

nice place, just a little disappointed on day we arrived pool was not ready for swimming, due to being patched had to refill which was a day wasted for grandson, but friendly staff gave direction to nearest beach area

Bulet hole in window, lights burnt out, plugs coming out of the walls, grimy hair dryer...

Excellent location. Room was good. Very noisey at night. People walking and talking at wee hours in the morning.

this is my 4th year in a row and I will be back for a 5th :-)

!_ MY RESERVATION VIA ORBITZ WAS NOT RECEIVED BY FRONT DESK. I HAD A CONFIRMATION WAS ACCOMODATED W A NICE ROOM IN THE FRONT PART OF THE HOTEL. PAID FULL PRICE AND AGREED ON A 1PM CHECK OUT....FROM 12.NOON, THE CLEANING STAFF KNOCK 3 TIMES...7 LAST WAS KIND OF AGGRESSIVE OBVIOUSLY THIS HOTEL HAS SOME COMMUNICATION PBS CLERC AT CHECKING WAS VERY NICE AND ACCOMMODATING WHEN I WAS ALMOST OUT,. ORBITZ SHARES A LARGE PART OF MY "EVALUATION"

The staff was great, but the inn itself was less than desirable. We were only there for one night until our cruise. They had complimentary airport and cruise shuttles. The hotel is extremely outdated. It felt like going back to the 60s. There was mold in the bathroom and nothing but furniture has been changed in decades in the rooms. The check-in and main building is nicely updated.

Good to stay for one night. The hotel is in middle of housing location so not much to look around but a great option if you are looking to spend a night before going on a cruise. Breakfast was good.
