I was surprised at how nice this place was! We got a very reasonable rate on Orbitz so I didn’t expect much. You enter through the lobby and they send you through double doors into the beautiful courtyard atrium area to where all of the rooms open. Our room had two rooms to it and you entered the living area that had a couch, TV refrigerator, microwave and sink. It was very spacious. Then you went through the second door into the beautiful bedroom area which had a king size bed, and a sliding glass door. Unfortunately, the sliding glass door curtains did not block the bright light that was installed outside, so it was a bit bright at night. But it felt safe and was very comfortable and clean. There were several very thoughtful touches in the room, including all of the cable channels you would possibly want, soft towels, and microwave. I would definitely stay here again, especially since it is so close to Busch Gardens.

I liked that the living area is closed off from the sleeping area and has a sofa bed for additional sleeping space. Staff was courteous and friendly, we had a comfortable stay. We had to change rooms as the room we were initially assigned did not have any heat and it was really cold, however the staff promptly addressed our concern and facilitated our request for a room change. Will definitely stay here again when in the area, highly recommended.

Its time for a little TLC

This establishment was average at best. Not meaning to make it sound bad, they could just make some well needed upgrades. The pool was nice...but cold. Nobody wanted to get in. Theres no hot tub (very easy to install). The breakfast was not very tasty, like other hotels have been. Its like they purchased 2 levels down from other hotel chains. The clenliness was nice except my white socks turned pretty black with me walking on my room floor. My sons feet were black within a few minutes also. The bed was pretty comfy but it looked like the place has been painted over about 20 times without redoing the sheetrock and it still has popcorn on their ceilings. Thats been gone for over 20 years in the building practices now. But overall a "decent" place to stay for the money (but I did get a little discount going through hotels . com

Only issue I have with this place is housekeeping. When we checked in there was 2 “housekeeping” staff in pajama pants and sweat shirts. Seems unprofessional to me. Room are not cleaned during your stay, even if you put the card on the door that says “ clean my room”. That’s a first for me.

The double suite was very spacious. The beds and pillows very comfortable. Couch bed was not comfortable and barely had padding on the couch bed. I had a reservation for 5, however towels in the suite was for a set of 2. I needed to ask for more towels.

Thermostat did not work, so no heat when it was 36 degrees outside. The sink didn’t have a faucet or spigot just three empty holes. I would never stay there again.

This is quite an upscale but older hotel. Our room was great and recently remodeled. The bed was very comfortable. The suite had 2 rooms but difficulty getting the heat transferred uniformly to the bedroom and bathroom. We had reserved a handicap room, but we arrived and were told none available. So with my wife using as walker, we navigated to the 2nd floor of the distant building. Entry was only allowed through the front entrance so we had a long way to luggage our luggage. Breakfast could have been good but eggs, sausage and bacon were.brought cold to service area and dumped into heated servers as we arrived at 6:55am. So we loaded our plates and heated them in our room. A good hotel could be great with a little more effort and consideration.
