Hotel staff was very helpful helped print a map off an alternative rote home
Great overall experience. Very clean in not so clean Ybor......
In close proximity to everything we planned to do. Staff was great, courteous and accommodating.
This was our first bad experience at a Hampton Inn, and we have stayed at quite a few. On our first night (out of two nights), the hot water in our shower was sporadic and weak. A dirty towel from the previous occupant was left hanging on our bathroom door hook. The morning after our first night, there was no hot water dispenser at breakfast, so I had to heat some in a paper cup in the microwave. No one came to clean our room during our two night stay. On our second night, the hot water problem was fixed, and the following morning, the usual complete breakfast was available (although they didn't have any 2% milk). NOTE: this Hampton Inn is only a couple of blocks from some rougher-looking neighborhoods (aside from being at one end of Ybor City, which is raunchy but fine).
Hotel was a great place to stay and shuttled us to Amalie Arena for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Would definitely stay again as the staff was very helpful and accommodating
They provided a shuttle to the convention center, very convenient. Free breakfast was great.
The hotel was in a great location in the Historic district. The whole street is filled with bars, resturants, and clubs. The staff is outgoing and over the top accommodating. They even charged my phone at the front desk and would bring it up to me whenever someone would call Or message.
Great location and very fun. Safe, easy to park and close to all the cool stuff.
Kind, friendly and intelligent service at every turn, from the front desk to the shuttle to the maintenance staff. Perfect location, plenty of parking. Fresh coffee throughout the day. Quiet inside rooms, spotless bathrooms, clean linens. Only complaint was the sofa beds - not much padding over the central metal frame.
NOT THE EASIEST HOTEL TO FIND AND PARK IN - BUT ONCE YOU DO - YOUR GOLDEN. PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND SIMPLY WALK DOWN THE STREET TO ALL OF YBOR CITY'S ATTRACTIONS. FRIENDLY STAFF, GREAT LOCATION AND ROOM HAS ALL YOU NEED...WHILE BE ING CLEAN. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Very convenient to the Port of Tampa. The staff was extremely pleasant. Breakfast just okay.
The hotel locations was very convenient to the cruise location we were looking for. However, it was in a "iffy" area in Ybor City. The Security was very evident and we felt safe there. The hotel offered shuttle to the Port of Tampa which was very nice to have. All the staff made us feel very welcome!
Great location, great staff and great overall condition for the hotel. Walk out the door for a quick stroll and you're in the heart of Ybor. Highly reccomend this hotel.
We stayed at the Hampton Inn based on the location. Since it was only one night, we were fine staying at a budget location. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel met our basic needs. I would stay at the hotel again for an overnight or even two nights.
...they offered to switch it after the first night, but who has time for that? Anyway, I got over that but I wish I could say things got better. Its not so much that the staff was bad or rude, it really just seemed like they didnt care and were just going through the motions. Actually, this attitude seems endemic to the Tampa area, so maybe there is nothing the hotel can do about it. Anyway, I probably wont be back. Oh, and the hotel blamed the booking site for the room problem.
room carpet leaves black deposit on bare feet-washes off in shower .
Nice hotel, clean, and a great location to activities in Ybor City!
Great hotel with easy access to Ybor City and the cruise terminal. Either walk to the historic Ybor district or take the provided shuttle to the surrounding area. Access to a great gym a few blocks away for health nuts.
Great hotel with a perfect location! The Staff couldn't make you feel more welcome!! It's a home-away-from-home, even for a short getaway; a wonderful place to unwind & reconnect with your special someone.
