I really wish I knew the extent of the construction going on. We couldn’t enjoy the pool or our view. However never did an employee pass us without saying hello. Staff were kind and helpful. Overall I would stay there again.

hotel was under construction not enough parking air condition not working no towels how do I get a refund.

We had a lot of fun at the Sirata. It's right on the beach. They charge you an "amenities fee" of close to $30/day per room that I didn't like. $30/day adds up! The fee is for boogie boards, bikes, and a 10% discount on water sports. Our room was very nice but the beds were uncomfortable. The staff was prompt in getting extra pillows and with advice on things to do in the area. We had a lot of fun at Rum Runners, the onsite bar. They could change up the entertainment, though. Every song the reggae guy sang sounded the same. Some of the other entertainers were very good. There is construction going on there now at one end of the resort but it didn't cause any problems at all. I didn't even find it until about my 3rd day there! There's a very cool outdoor playground for younger kids as well as corn hole, hammocks, an oversized chess board and other things to do on the beach.

We paid a good amount of money for our stay, on top of that there was a resort fee! No umbrellas unless you paid extra per day an same for chairs. Housekeeping was missing items including water most days. If you went to the one and only pool for the entire resort which was small you couldn’t bring food because you were expected to buy at the grill. Prices were different depending on who you spoke to for cabanas. Upscale drinks were served in small plastic cups. Wyfi wasn’t working most of the time and the TV would freeze all the time. We expected better for a resort

The room we booked through Orbitz with 2 queens was not available at check in so they jammed me into a room with just a king sized bed. Not fun sharing a bed with your kid who rolls around a ton. They offered us a hide a bed but it looked really uncomfortable. Fridge in the room was busted and after unpacking everything it was a major pain to move rooms. Repair guy was off for the night so they could not simply get us a new fridge. They played VERY loud music at the bar until after midnight on Sunday night so we had to shut the sliding glass door on our balcony. We were woken up by various neighbors opening and slamming doors on our floor in the morning so the walls are pretty thin. Periodically we'd hear loud water running in the pipes from our bathroom so that woke us up too. Free Happy Hour was okay with a watered down rum drink and Bud Light. Work out room was decent but the TVs on the cardio equipment do not work.

This hotel is under renovation, not noted when we booked. Our room was right next to the construction, no sleeping in or napping as it was very loud. They were down a pool and restaurant. While it took a little longer at their restaurant Rum Runners we encountered an above average employee, Kathy. Kathy was funny kind and attentive, even though she was slammed. I am sure it will be great when they are done but some guests were inconvenienced more than others, like on our side of the building, they gave a coupon for a free night when the remodel is done, we live in Michigan, one night doesn't do anything for me. After this experience not sure I would book in again as it should of been noted on their website they were under a major renovation. We stayed March 2018.

This was a wonderful place to stay (even with the renovations going on). I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were very nicely updated. They are currently renovating other areas. Every staff member we came across was very helpful and pleasant. We had a great family vacation thanks to Sirata! My only complaint is the floors were very dirty. They were always swept but need a good moving as well.

Well I hate to be lied to and thats what started this weekend off.I got to the hotel at 11:30 am cause of an early flight. I was able to "pre check in" and got a card to get towels from the room and they told me my suite would be ready soon and to keep in touch. Hotel does state that check in time is 4 pm but was assured that an early check in was happening soon. Went back at 2 pm and was told we will text you as soon as your suite is ready. At 4 pm I called and got no answer and left a VM. At 4:15 i get a text that my room is ready, so go to the front desk and the line is out the door for check in!!! they did a mass text and there was not a happy person in that line. At 4:55 I got my key finally. The room was very nice after all of the wait. Speaking of the wait staff were lazy and could care less when they got to you! I will say the food was yummy from a burger to the breakfast. Check out is 11 and they start knocking on your door at 10:30 am. Doubt I will return with so many other hotels to pick from...

The hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation, but I did my research ahead of time and expected this. I requested a renovated room. Staff was friendly. Pool area was a little crowded; had to wait for a lounge chair. Location was excellent, nice walking distance to many restaurants and grocery store, and right on the beach. We loved all the activities at the hotel, and the free drinks at happy hour.

Live entertainment in Pm, Rooms upgraded easy access to beach. Free useage of bikes. Nice pool area. Harrys pool area is being remodeled so soon they will have that as well.

Upon arrival I was met by a helpful person at the desk which is always a sign of things to come. The grounds were well kept and the room was clean. You can tell it is an older property but it has been well maintained. The pool was nice and the beach was perfect. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. One curious thing I had about it was that they offered beach and pool towels and tracked them with a microchip if you didn't return them. Very cool but perhaps a bit extreme. I enjoyed my stay there and I highly recommend it.

We met some of the kindest and most helpful people at this resort. I would highly recommend the Sirata. The rooms were very comfortable, and there were plenty of pools and bars/restaurants to hang out at. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurants and bars were so incredibly nice. We had a fantastic time at this resort bu everyone from the front desk to the restaurants and bars were so incredibly nice. We had a fantastic time at this resort with our two kids!

Pros: * Right on the beach, hotel staff was very nice, great view, price was reasonable. Cons: * No balcony, service charge fees per day for amenities that we never used.

Great location on beach. I don't recommend Rum Runners. Bad service. We could not get anyone to wait on our table for dinner. Some of the staff were rude

I'm very disappointed in my recent stay at Sirata. Here are the reasons why: 1. I did not know there was a resort fee. 2. My room was dusty, did not have toiletries i.e. shampoo, conditioner, etc. I had to request them. 3. The next day I left early, and came back at 4pm to find my room the same way I left it. My room was not cleaned. It was filthy.

It was nice till I woke up to a big roach in my bed.

Friendly staff, clean, and organized. Great beach location. Restaurant over priced.

The rooms vary widely as to how large they are and of course view. There seem to be humidity problems as each room had AC and a dehumidifier in them. My first room's rug felt very damp and the hotel staff kindly got us an other room. The wait staff at the hotel is not the friendliest which is surprising as they depend on tips. The other staff is very courteous and friendly. This is a pet and child friendly hotel. If you like peace and quiet this isn't the place over a holiday weekend to relax at the pool. The hotel has 3 restaurants on the property and you can walk to many more which is very convenient and of course the beach is right at your door step.

All staff was very friendly. This hotel is older but everything was clean and it is just steps to the beach.

Was given room with kitchen and living area that we did not ask for and was much more expensive. When we reported it we were moved to another room with only basic accommodations and was told we would not b getting any refund from the room that was $260.00 per night. We find this practice very questionable and would appreciate a full review. Thank you. Robert and Anna Leininger
