We enjoyed our stay. Great Beach! I think they should give you free coffee. Or at least have 1 coffee bar that is complimentary. The coffee maker in room was dirty. I think parking should be free as well. With the money you pay to stay there, you should be able to park. And the food in the restaurants was a little disappointing. Otherwise the room was clean, and we had a awesome view! Staff very helpful, and friendly.
Good experience for price. I would recommend to a friend. An excellent value
Our recent stay at the Sirate was superb. The room was a little small and out dated. The food and atmosphere was great. We had everything we needed right there. Will definitely go back!
Staying at the sirata was a great experience . The entire staff was very pleasant and personable . We had ordered room service for breakfast one morning and it was absolutely delicious. The only complaint about the room was the carpet seemed very dirty and bathroom was smaller than expected .
FD staff a little frustrated because system was down so not very nice. Also told us to go to the wrong building. The gentleman at concierge was very nice.
Was there to relax and enjoy the beach. Ideal location for this.
The location was perfect! On the beach yet only a nice walk to the local Publix. The food was fair. Ordered nachos at Rum Runners and we got a plate of chips with tomatoes on top and 3 styrofoam containers, one with salsa, one with sour cream and one with cheese sauce. A bit disappointing for $7. Our room looked like it had been updated a bit. However, the curtains were dirty (or maybe just old). The kitchen area was very nice. Excellent beach!!! Love, love, love it! One tip--it would be nice if the resort guests didn't have to rent the beach cabanas. All in all, it was a great 5 day vacation.
We stayed at a 1 bedroom suite and to our surprised it was quite comfortable. My wife and I had a great experience as we walked along the beach. We also played ping pong which we have not done in years and we had a lot of fun. We had a great dinner at one of the restaurants on property. The hotel staff was friendly and professional.
Great trip!! Everything at resort was fantastic!! Staff and room were great as well!!
Was an acceptable place to stay but didn't knock me over. Its a 3 star hotel on the beach, not sure how many stars it officially has but my room was just ok and the shower/tub wasn't great. I believe the tower rooms were nicer then the low rise portion of the resort.
Afordable, clean and suprisingly quite. There was a Grand Prix go cart race at the hotel that weekend so I thought it would be pretty noisy, but the rooms buffered the noise so that was nice.
I chose Sirata because it was business friendly, but offered a beach side location and ocean view at a reasonable price. I was not disappointed. The table made a great work space, the free wifi was adequate and I could do paperwork at the end of the day and watch the sun set over the gulf. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Great property to stay ! Family friendly with 2 pools, hot tubs, laundry. Beautiful beach !
Every staff member was very personable and went out of their way for us from the manager to the maids.
In need of updating, our "suite" had a bedroom in the back with 2 uncomfortable queen beds. There was a portable dehumidifier in the corner which ran constantly, very loud, and we had to empty the water every day. Assume this was to keep the room from being damp and musty. The carpet was old, orange and brown, and the wallpaper in bathroom was old, and peeling. There was a sofabed in the main living area, also uncomfortable. We did have a kitchen with 2 electric burners, microwave, and full size refrigerator and freezer, which was nice, but dishes and utensils were minimal. The outdoor areas, pools, bars, and restaurants were all great.
Our reservation started off great, we checked without issue. Then, we got to the room. Cramped but it will do, until I laid on the bed. This mattress was made for sleep but those days were gone. Id say the mattress had a hard decade on it. I turned on the tv and it had a guide that just numbered the channels. I thought I'm here for the beach, so I went back to elevator with my wife to check out the beach and on the way we see some roaches....great. It is on the beach so that was what sold me. Rum Runners was nice. Harry's has premade food, so when I got a pizza.that looked like it was a 4 minute tombstone pizza. The irony in all of it was it took like 40 minutes. If you come here, come for the locale and the staff are super friendly.
The appearance on the outside is great. But the inside didn't seem very clean and was worn out. There was an additional fee to park. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The restaurant on site wasn't that great.
I found the hotel grounds to be very well maintained. The room was very spacious. The bed was quit comfortable. My room was just opposite one of the beach bars which had live music on the weekends I was initially worried that the band would play all night but at 10pm the band stopped which really surprised me. Housekeepers really do an awesome job maintaining the room and are so polite and professional. My overall stay was fantastic. Only one turn off was the hotel parking fee $8 plus tax per day. Many other resorts in the area don't charge quests for parking on hotel grounds don't understand why they do.
When we went into the room I opened the curtains & there was dried blood on them. I called housekeeping & asked for the curtains to be replaced. Someone came & sprayed bleach on them & did not change them. The furniture is very old & worn. For $300 dollars a nite it is unacceptable. My daughter & grandchildren were with us in another room & my son & his family were in another room so we were paying $900 dollars a nite. It was a family celebration of my birthday, my grandson's, my grandaughter & my son. When I made the reservations with Orbitz I tried to get rooms at the Tradewinds & then the Guy Harvey Outpost but there was no availability. The person I spoke with suggested the Sirata. I asked her if the 3 properties were reciprocal. I told her our children & grandchildren wanted to use the slides & other water attractions. She said she would put me on hold & call the Tradewinds directly. I was on hold at least 7-8 minutes. When she came back on she said "Yes" we could use all the attractions on the 3 properties. We checked in on Thur. afternoon. The next morning we went over to the Tradewinds & were told the # properties were not reciprocal. We were told we could buy day passes for all the water attractions for $45 a day per person. There were 9 of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After we had just walked by the pools, the slides & the paddleboats the children begged us to stay. We spent another $450 a day in addition to the $900 because your booking agent gave us the wrong information.
