Awful, dirty, no amenities, charged to sit in a chair on the postage stamp of a beach, no housekeeping, SMELLY! Constant smell of marijuana and smoke. Stairways were actually dangerous to use. Loud band plays next door until 2:30in the morning; starts early in the day and that is all you can hear! Thread bare towels-honestly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in!

Old. No renovations done since it was built, (most likely long long time ago) Carpets and rooms are dirty and old. Spend the extra $50 bucks and go next door.

My fourth year vacationing in this property. For the 111 dollars per nite … it’s the best priced ocean view room that you will find on this particular island of Clearwater where the other beach front hotels it’s next to charge a whole lot more. It has its own private sandy beach in front. You can go down the street 300 yards and stay at the opal sands resort for 400 -1800 a night and listen to the construction noise of their new addition for the next 15 months while you sit on the beach in front of their resort.You can’t beat Gulf View Hotels high end vacation experience at a budget price. Thank you Gulf View

Only comment, parking spaces are very narrow. Hard to get in and out of. Big trucks should be required to park in the front of the parking lot not by reception. Several trucks there and they took up one and a half parking spaces so several parking spaces were not being able to be used
The hotel is in very bad shape. Needs to be remodeled really bad.
Front desk staff receptionist a bit of a language barrier, quite not understand some words he was trying to say, strong mildew odor The surroundings was great the plus side is right on the beach they have a little private beach. The pool is OK for the money I spent on this hotel I could’ve stayed at the Marriott no big deal I know for next time.
The service from the two receptionists that I interfaced with was not good they were not customer focus. When I got there and went to the bathroom the toilet was not working and there was old stained blood on one of the sheets. When I asked to have the sheet changed they didn't do it. I would recommend or stay at the hotel again not even for free.
Hotel had weird smell and was very rusty
When we got our room the door was broken and the toilette was clogged. After staff checked the room and realized we weren't lying then we were moved to a room without a view because there were no more rooms with a view.
Hot tub was nice.

Thank you for your opinion. We are constantly updating as business permits. Sometimes the the updates are not visible to the public. If you were not happy with your room during your 2 night stay, we would have been happy to upgrade you if you had said something.
