We came down for vacation, and we noticed our room needed some repair. For example, the door to the balcony did not open or close well and took some force to do either. It was a short walk to the public beach, which was nice! We were curious to learn the pool closed after sunset, which was inconvenient. We did understand that there was still a lot of rebuilding and repair in process from the hurricane, but we probably wouldn’t stay again just because of all of the additional costs for amenities.

This was our second stay at the Dolphin. We love its location and private beach. This part of Clearwater Beach is much quieter and perfect for our family. The restaurant on site has good food and very friendly staff. The rooms are clean and the hotel staff are helpful and very welcoming. We also like that there are a number of restaurants you can walk too in under 10 minutes.

Great experience. Everyone was super friendly, the room was average but the partial water view was excellent. The pool was heated and you could also walk out on the beach to the water, wonderful combo!
