Hostile staff who couldn't give a hoot that your stay is awful. I was hard eyed by a bald staff person when checking in and he wasn't even checking me in. Just staring at me like I don't belong there. And oh yes broken toilet and coffee maker that doesn't work. Yr paying $200 a night to stay in a cheap motel that happens to be on a gorgeous lagoon which is pretty much the only good thing about this place. Big avoid.

Our room overlooked the intercostal. The view was about the only thing worthy of saying anything good about. After the first two young ladies checked us in, the staff either wouldn’t say anything at all to us or generally just ignore us as we passed by. The room was one of, maybe the worst I’ve ever stayed in. From the walls being messed up to the shower tile being pieced together with a shower curtain that doesn’t fit so water spill out into the floor, etc. we had stayed here before and had hoped for it and wanted to believe it was actually “renovated”. It has not been, in any sense of the word. Needless to say it’s our last time staying here.

Staff was friendly and room was clean. Treasure Island working hard to come back. Things we missed: Tiki bar on the patio, free breakfast, public beach across Gulf Boulevard still fenced off. Look forward to seeing TI come all the way back!

I usually don't take the time to do this but I think it will help other people. From the pictures it looks OK nice you would have a pool and hot tub and a view of the bay with the boats are docked also you have to walk across a four lane very treacherous highway to get to the beach. But when I got inside it looked like they tried to fix it up but they didn't do any finishing touches. There was like a wall that wasn't finished in the bathroom. Not clean black mold in the tub. Slider doors don't work right. The bed was pretty good I would have to say. But the service really sucked because the people were rude and didn't speak English well. No snacks or free breakfast that's a downer. And lastly I stayed two nights and I got these little bites on my legs three in a row which would indicate bedbug bites. I really don't need to take bedbugs back to my house. Also the towels were totally like a piece of rough cardboard. Not consistent. Some towels were good somewhere awful. Then point is the room across from me reached a pot smell and a dog that was barking all the time. I did not feel safe. I put the ironing board in front of the door. Seemed like a sleazy motel. Did not like the atmosphere of this place at all. The only reason why I went was because they have a hot tub. And walking distance to thethey give you a child for the pool that's like a piece of paper towel. It was a joke. The bar and breakfast area upstairs was completely closed down. Forget about getting help at night.
