Un hotel en remodelación y con ratones en el restaurante
Perfect location. Short walk to the best beach on the west coast. Checkin was quick and easy. Lots of restaurants within a few minutes of walking distance.
Great location great bar and view with a decent pool area. I feel there maybe nicer rooms but ours was average at best with no view.
This hotel does not have acces to the beach and in my opinion it is expensive. Hotel staff nice and courteous.
I was really nervous about this hotel. Some ratings were good, some not so much. Plus, I had just stayed 2 nights at a crappy hotel in Tampa, so HOPED this one was a little better. Boy, was it nice!! The room was a good size, had a nice balcony (overlooked street, but thats ok). Room and hotel was very clean. The pool was directly on the ocean so the view all day was spectacular. There was a pool bar too!! Off the pool is a really yummy restaurant, and a game room for the kids. The walk to the beach was a little struggle, because theres contruction next door, so the sidewalk is closed on the beach side...
Great family hotel. Great pool area with nice views of the bay. A short walk from the main beach in Clearwater Beach. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Meet expectations. No beach on back side. Construction is every where. Very loud starting at 730 a.m. Water was turned off for three hours during the day, which was not the hotel's fault. Wait another year before going to Clearwater just due to the vast expanse of construction every where.
The location is great and easy to get to from the airport. The pool on the water is great. We did have trouble with the TV set but they told us that there wasn't anything they could do for us. Also paying for parking is stupid with the price you pay.
We have stayed here before. Our stay this time.....was better last time. We had a larger room, and we DIDNOT have to pay for parking. This was an added charge of 55.00, for four days. Overall......we still would come back.
This is the second time I have stayed here. First time for a girls trip second time family trip. Both experiences were great! Rooms have always been clean, the view is spectacular, and the staff is so friendly. There is an outside bar seating area and a pool side bar. They usually have live. Music every night outside so it's a great way to wind down the evening! Only Complaint was the construction noise, but you get used to it, and the location and price you pay makes up for it!
great hotel, great location, great service . no complains
The hotel itself was clean and the pool and rooms were very nice. The staff was very accommodating and polite. I was disappointed about having to pay for parking or even getting inconvenienced when I had to park my car all the way by the bridge and have a taxi service pick me up and take me back to the hotel. The beds were also a tad bit too soft and my wife and I both woke up with back and neck pain. I was also surprised that there was no access to the beach but was told we might have to walk over two hotels and try to use their access. Either way the walk to the main beach was well worth it. All the construction going on was an eye sore and the noise was distracting. All around a very nice hotel but could tighten up a few things to make it a 5 star experience.
The hotel itself is very nice and the staff was as well. The only issue we had was with the parking. They are currently redoing the parking lot. They did have courtesy valet but you felt a lighted to tip each and every time, in addition to the parking fee of $12 per day. It adds up quick. They elevators are very slow. Other than these minor issues it was a great stay.
Will say the staff were friendly and helpful. The birds on the patio where you est on patio were anoying but our overall experience was very good.
It was my first time in Florida and after my stay I will definitely be back. The hotel was centrally located AND on the water - a must when you're staying near the ocean. Everything was clean and the staff was very nice. The restaurant inside was good, too. Overall great experience - just wish I didn't have to pay for parking!
Enjoyed our week at the Holiday Inn Clearwater Beach. It was centrally located and easy to walk to restaurants and different activities. It wasn't however, as close to the beach as we thought. I read somewhere that it was 500 feet... more like a quarter of a mile. We ate at Jimmy's one night and it was good. We took advantage of the Trilogy Tuesday, as advertised on their website. When we got there and asked about it, however, they didn't know what we were talking about! We opted for a room with a gulf view and it was great! Bathroom was updated it appeared, but rest of the room needed a little work. However, we weren't in our room very much. Overall it was a great stay!!
Great location! The hotel was comfortable, although I think it could use a sprucing up in the paint and decor department. The front desk staff were terrific. The location was good, with wonderful views of the gulf and easy access to the beach. The pool was a bit over crowded at times. Jimmy's was the best, with great service, good food choices and an array of cocktails. Nice, live entertainment nightly. Downtown transportation was available right outside of the hotel.
I loved the hotel amenities... lots to do. Its a beautiful location and the room was comfortable. I didn't like that the housekeeper came in to clean while we were downstairs. She threw away my boys pizza from room service. I also didn't like that even though I paid online, I was required to give them a credit card for a pre authorized 75.00 or 100.00 in cash to hold until checkout. Plus its an automatic 12.00 per day for parking. Other hotels I have been to do not have these hidden fees, it must be the location. The food at the Fish House was good and they have a spa and wave runner rentals. Overall our family had a good time.
Very good experience. Wonderful application and helpful staff
Great time. Just what I expected. Come to this hotel every Memorial Day weekend. Everyone is nice and accommodating and the location is unbeatable, being right next to Shepards on the beach.
