The staff at this property were very nice. The rooftop bar offers a fun vibe, decent food, and a great view of the beach and sunset. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was ok. The main disappointment was the pool area, which was not much to get excited about. The location of this hotel is great, so that made up for the other disappointing things. We had to pay an additional daily up charge for basic things like pool/beach towels. FYI

Card readers to the rooms are terrible. Elevator traffic is horrible due to the first 3 floors of public parking garage. Great bar on top floor though.

The day was nice. The area was nice and the property was clean. I was just unhappy about the unexpected charge when I got to the hotel because hotels.com clearly states all fees and taxes are included, and that was not the case.

Misleading upfront charges, and taxes

Everything about our stay was great except for the upfront charges that hotels.com told me about. Like all fees and charges were included in the price that I was charged but then when I got to the property, they said I had to pay an extra $75 For a damage deposit that was not stated in my upfront fees and taxes in the beginning so that was very misleading, and I am very unhappy about that.
