Bilmar Beach Resort

I live not to far from the hotel but wanted to get away and relax for a few days. The location is great. Its an older motel/hotel. You can hear every foot step from up above and every conversation in the hallway. Room was nice and staff was friendly. Open air hallways that why I said motel/hotel.

Large clean beach, pools, and restaurants. Loved my stay.

The staff were extremely friendly and hotel was exceptionally clean!

Hotel pool was nice. I thought the hotel was very clean. Loved that it was close to the beach! We will be back for sure!

Great location. Grocery store and plenty of restaurants nearby. Beach amenities were great. Resort provided chairs and buying a cheap umbrella at any of the close stores made a cabana unneeded. Plenty of beach space. Hotel combats the constant intrusion of sand well with frequent mopping and sweeping. Only downside is nighttime noise, which is typical of most beach hotels. Multiple open air restaurants produce some band noise until 10-11pm.

An older hotel on Treasury Island. Good location, quiet. Publix and Walgreens on the other side of the street. Not too much to do in Treasury Island. Very wide beach. We liked the view from our hotel and the walking path along the beach. The beach cafe Sunday buffet style breakfast is expensive and not worth it. $60.00 dolars for 3 people, cold, dry scrambled eggs and coffee? The omelettes on other days of the week were very good. 2 heated pools, not big, but nice to swim a little in the evening. Overall, it was ok.

Great resort. Lots to do. There were two pools, hot tub and plenty of deck chairs for sunning. I didn't use bikes or kayaks that were available. Two restaurants in resort. Walkable to other restaurants and bars. Paved walking trail along beach. Only complaint would be about the entertainment. A couple nights they had singers or bands. One night Bilmar had a singer and the place next door did too. Neither one sounded good because they were both playing different music. Need to coordinate with neighbor on when there was entertainment.

Dining closed to guests during two wedding receptions. Noisy due to street traffic and bar across the street playing live music until 1:00 am. Dining staff very friendly and efficient. Parking limited at hotel.

4th year staying there. They were under renovations but the staff did a great job of accommodating us. Great location & will be back..

Closes everything to early, 10pm Come on when your on vacation!

The hotel is nice, clean rooms, friendly staff. If you’re looking for a place to be up late hanging out or partying this is not the right resort. Everything (pools, restaurants, bars, fire pits, and sun deck) closes down at 10pm and they are very strict about that time. The rooms are newly remodeled and look much nicer than what you may see online. I’d only recommend this resort to someone looking for a quiet place that doesn’t have any kind of night life.

Pleasant. The construction was inconvenient but understandable that it needed to be done. House keeping did not come clean our room one of the days, and we had to go and get a new key 2 different times because they wouldn’t work after a few uses. It would be nice if the pool/sundeck stayed open later.

They were doing TONS of construction, the rooms smelled like we paint. Construction workers were CONSTANTLY in the way. It did not ruin my experience. They were pleasant. I would stay again.

Elevator malfunctioning slightly. other that it was a nice stay.

3rd year there and will be back again. Great amenities and hotel location.

When we arrived Michael at the front counter was awesome. The room was good with an awesome beach view. When to Sloppy Joe's for dinner which was very good with a great service provided by AJ. The following morning we went to the beach and to the largest pool which was nice. The only thing I was disappointed was that I left in the door to please provide service because we wanted our towels changed and nobody ever came to fix the room. Overalls, it was great. The food also at the Cafè is very nice and the staff is super friendly.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The beach was a little bit of a distance from the room.

Nice Clean Rooms. Great Beach Access. Food could be better

Excellent location, beautiful beach, great onsite restaurants with live music!!

Had a friend visiting from Indiana, it was the perfect place to experience a little beach life!

Dear Labatts, I am glad you enjoyed our central location and the great Treasure Island beach. While our rooms and other facilities are fully modernized we do still have the old Florida architecture with open air corridors. May guests enjoy the Beaches Building with the Efficiency room types that have more of a "courtyard" feel and buffer from the surrounding area. I hope you will consider that on your next visit.

Our Café is a popular event venue and I hope you were able to enjoy our other signature restaurant Sloppy Joe's on the Beach. It is always open for Lunch and Dinner for our guests and local clientele. Our neighboring restaurant should observe the 10pm noise ordinance but sometimes props their door open. We will remind them to keep it quieter after 10pm. With 3 parking lots we do not run out of parking but sometimes guests have to use the lighted crosswalks for additional parking. Thank you for staying with us.

While Treasure Island has several venues within a block open later at night we do close our two restaurants at 10pm weeknights and 11pm on weekends. With many families and our open balcony rooms we try and provide a quieter relaxing evening for all of our valued guests.
