Great property, suited our family well(ages from 7 mo to 90 years). Mosquitoes were out in full force, but nothing to be done about that. Pool was great, as was the 2 houses. Families with the kids were separated from the ones without.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of space and great location. The bathtubs do all need nonslip strips as we had two ladies slip in the tubs. It would also help people to understand that you must walk through one bedroom to get to another in the guest house. Not as critical when housing families with children but certain awkward with couples.

Wonderful place for family gathering

We loved our stay at East Beach Courtyard. There was so much room for everyone to have their space and the home was fully stocked, clean, with everything we needed ina quiet neighborhood. Beach access was easy (used short alley to 6th street entrance). We loved the heated pool! Location is close to everything we wanted to see and do. Speeding up wifi and internet access or providing cable is needed. Great time with family ...

Wonderful space for varied ages and stages! Plenty of room to spread out and come together. Next time I’ll make sure to rent a golf cart for going to the beach.

All on one level and very comfortable

I loved that every part of this house was on ground level and that it flowed around the pool terrace area. It had a real "beach-house" vibe. The bedrooms were medium sized and very cozy and comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. The front porch was a great place to hang out. While this is a corner property, there was very little traffic on the street and the trail to the beach was right out the front door.

Family Time

Great location. Pool was enjoyed by all generations but a little rough around the edges. Loved the private, quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed spending time on the roof deck in morning and evening. Watch out for wasp nests near steps.

Three moms have stayed in touch since we were teens. Now we have kids that have grown up as close as cousins. This set up was perfect for our group. Lots of room for the combined group, and space for the adults and kids to head to their own corners. The pool in the center became the focal point, but we did spend a lot of time at the beach since it was such a short walk.

East Beach Oasis... highly recommend!

Our first time to St. Simons Island, GA, for all three of our families. We were there for spring break that included five teens. We loved the home for all of the accommodations and amenities included. The home layout is great to provide space for teenagers and children and then for parents too. We enjoyed the roof top fire pit each night listening to the ocean, under the stars. With the time of year, we opted to have the pool heated which was a great choice. The bedrooms were comfortable and the home was clean for sure. It is a short walking distance to the beach which we preferred along the road path then through the less developed area. Construction was happening across from the home; but, it was not an inconvenience. In booking the home, the property management group was amazing. We look forward to returning to St. Simon's Island GA and the East Beach Oasis again. Thank you!

Perfect Family Beach Retreat

This is an elegant two-property, single story compound surrounding a common pool. It is the perfect rental for a large family or two families, because each has several bedrooms and its own kitchen and dining area. It is only footsteps to the beach and is a 15 minute drive to shopping, and dining and golf. Communication with management was a breeze. We all had a fantastic time and would come again in a heartbeat.

SSI “Our Happy Place”14years & counting

The Palm Cottage was pure bliss! Ohh the places we have stayed- The King and Prince and over the last 5 years of renting vacation homes, we have found “The One”. This house is amazingly perfect for my almost adult children, their friends and the Hubby & I. The house is beautiful, the layout and design is perfection, the pool and the roof top deck..glorious. Someone really paid attention to all the creature comforts to make our stay enjoyable. Our expectations were surpassed! We will return again and again — this vacation house is truly “The One”! Adore the house, the beach and love, love the location! Best vacation yet on SSI!

Perfect for multiple families

The unique arrangement of this property allows everyone to have their own space with plenty of options for gathering together. Best of all, the courtyard pool is large enough to accommodate the teenagers. It even has a screened porch for storing beach gear along with a full sized washer and dryer and 3rd refrigerator. The only challenge was getting the correct entry code to access the keys and the digital locks. The property manager was easy to reach for help with this but it could be accurately provided in the check in email for a smooth beginning to the vacation. Well stocked kitchens and the grill make it easy to stay in for meals if you choose. Use 6th Street beach access for an easier walk to the waves. Definitely would stay here again!

Family Beach Trip

Great vacation rental with defined spaces between the main house and guest house that makes multi-family/multi-generation groups very comfortable. Well outfitted and would definitely rent again! You can't beat the location for non-beachfront rental.
