First impressions are vital with new customers like we were. Jose welcomed us at reception and was absolutely amazing. Not only did we get to check in early but he also gave us a room upgrade after we signed up to be a member. All of the staff were amazing the room was perfect and we also had food and cocktails in Atlantic gate which was also faultless.

Great change - we hadn’t appreciated the move straight away from the old Holiday Inn as we had booked for convenience. Initially we were concerned as we waited in line as the check in was taking time. It became very clear and apparent why when it was our turn. You are treated from the start like the only customer in the room by José a fantastic FOH gentlemen who oozes real true down to earth customer care - as if it was his own hotel. Checking what you have booked and then allocating that as best he can to fit the hotels best room. We were only one night. “Tonight, we have space it’s unusually quite. Would you like a view of the city?”, “Yes please” is out reply, “Let see how high we can go to give you the best view”. It made all the difference. We booked in for Breakfast which we hadn’t originally done, this was relaxed and exceptional quality with a very varied selection. We got back earlier than planned from our night to take night class from a closed off bar but nothing was too much trouble to take to our room. The room that was spacious l, clean and well maintained. A booking of convenience was converted to a booking of choice for the future. This is highly recommended. Thankyou for the complimentary parking that was an unexpected added bonus.

The bar was well stocked. We had lunch which was absolutely lovely. A very comfortable room and bed. The hot breakfast was overcooked and not very nice. We would stay again but maybe have the continental breakfast.
