This is simply a most friendly, comfortable and fantastic place to stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is very close to town, resturants hiking and most anything. The pool area was most pleasant. Our room was a one bedroom, but it was excellent! The bed was super comfortable. The room was well appointed. Staff helped arrange some activities and gave us great advise. We are looking forward to coming back to Sedona and will definitely try to stay here.
We stayed here in the King Suite and were very impressed with the rooms and the hotel. The staff were amazing especially Ms. Angela who went out of her way to ensure we could book the 'stargazing' experience which was the highlight of our stay. Highly recommended - we had the chance to see Saturn and it's rings through a telescope. The rooms had everything that we needed including a washing machine and dryer. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The reason why I didn't give a 5 star review was because the bathroom wasn't entirely clean and had hairs from the previous occupants in the shower. Other than this which can be remedied easily this was a good stay and most definitely will be back for a future stay.
We are owners in Sedona. The one bedroom deluxe we stayed at was perfect. It was close to the pool and the porch was a great place to relax. This time of the year the mosquito are out. Make sure to bring spray. We stayed in unit 1312. Even a little baby bunny greeted us at our front door.
Our stay at Wyndham Sedona was fine....two large bedrooms, two large bedrooms, full-sized appliances....as is the norm at Wyndham resorts. Enjoyed a karaoke session at the welcome center.....silly fun for a hour or so one evening. Complaints: Little things were falling apart, for example: the tissue holder in the main bath was nearly falling off the wall. The living room furniture is atrociously uncomfortable! We were in an "accessible" room which apparently meant that the cabinet panels in front of all sinks had been removed; that is a cheap and UGLY means of qualifying as "accessible."
My husband and I spent four glorious days this past week. We have only a four hour drive from Tucson and prefer this for a short getaway. We love being able to break up the time to do several trips, or give a few days to a guest. The staff is so friendly, the resort grounds are kept so beautifully, the pool is clean and inviting, the hot tub is perfect and the rooms are lovely, and basically pretty quiet even if you have folks above you. Quiet hour is at 10 pm and everyone observes that. We got the one bedroom deluxe which is a large apartment like unit, with a full kitchen, living room with a large tv, large bedroom with a smaller tv, a lovely bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bathtub. Wow! The smaller unit, the bedroom suite is also very comfortable but we prefer the larger to feel like a resort, apartment feeling. We have been coming up here since 2003, as it is our hiking mecca, even better than Tucson with the red rocks. We had a problem with our DVD player the first night and Richard spent over an hour trying to get it started but no go, so he left a message with his supervisor for the next day. Dale came and tried but it still didn't work. Ed come and he put a new player in and it worked! They all bent over backwards to fix it and solve the problem, and that has been the case in the other years if we have had problem. EVERYONE is so friendly! We had asked for a first floor and it was ready when we checked in early at 2pm, which was so nice. We found out it was a handicapped which we didn't need but it was very open and more roomy that a regular unit, but still preferred the regular unit. I also need to remember to ask for a room with a view as our patio looked out on the parking lot, but we weren't in the room the much so it worked out well. Everything was in working order, clean and spotless. The nice thing about Wyndham is you have laundry facilities right in your unit, with two packets of soap. The only disappointment this time was that we didn't receive list of businesses and restaurants that give discounts to Wyndham guests and this is the first time it has ever happened. Nicole at Guest Services explained we needed to go to an update to receive one and we had by passed, since we had just been to Flagstaff in March and attended an update there. I feel this is so unfortunate and have expressed my disappointment in the survey we received. I am not sure if this comes from the Wyndham Headquarters or from Wyndham Resort themselves. We have been here enough to know which ones will give discounts with your key but feel sorry for newcomers to Sedona. We still love Wyndham and will be returning again!
My 1 bedroom suite had a leaky A/C unit that flooded the carpet, to begin with. We got maintenance to unclog the A/C pipes, but that didn't help. We had a maintenance fan running the whole stay, hoping to dry the carpet, which it didn't do. To make matters worse, my son stepped on the wet carpet and slipped on the adjacent tile. The room comes with a fridge, a stove and a washer/dryer unit. We cooked and stuff, but the accident just killed the vibe. Just a terrible room, terrible service, why do they book rooms that have flooded carpet and that cause accidents?
We had a nice three-night stay here in a one bedroom deluxe, roomy with a balcony. There is also a one bedroom suite that is not as large, small kitchenette and no balcony which we have had in the past. We enjoyed the deluxe unit because it gave us more of a resort feel. Swimming pool and hot tub are now open 24 hours and it is a beautiful place as you look up at the stars late at night. The front desk and service people all seem to be friendly and helpful. We even had a good experience with the 'parking pass' desk where the lady was not high pressuring us to attend the normally dreadful meeting.
Oh my god got this beauty on a hotel site, and am so thankful. The Wyndham is a amazing resort. We have a 1 bdrm, but very comfortably sleeps 4. Kitchen is great, stove, big fridge. Washer/Laundry. Shower pressure is problay the only bad point Pool area is good. Best feature by far ,is the staff. Thank you so much
Booked a 2 bedroom suite during the memorial day weekend. Travelled with my brother and his family for a weekend getaway to Grand Canyon, The hotel was perfect for those travelling with kids. Ample dining space, laundry and kitchen in the room. the 2 bedroom was good for 8 people. The walls were a bit thin but not to a point that it would become bothersome. Lots of activities for the kids, movie nights and activity center. Service was excellent, the lady at the counter gave us extra keys so, the kids can go to the activity center without borrowing our keys, they were a bit strict on the extended checkout but we understand, it was a busy season. This is a time share property, they will try to sell their property, but they were not pushy to a point that it becomes intrusive. Cookies, coffee and water are available at the lobby. The place is convenient, there is a grocery store ( I think it was Ralph's) and eateries just outside the entrance. View was excellent.
The view here is AMAZING! The location is wonderful. I had a 2 bedroom lockoff unit, which is a 1 bedroom deluxe and 1 bedroom suite, so I will describe them separately. The 1 bedroom deluxe is SPACIOUS. There is a ton of room here to relax with huge windows and glass doors to view the red rocks outside. There is a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom as well. The bathroom and shower seem out of date when compared to the rest of the unit, but are clean and function well, so NO complaints. The shower is very large and comfortable. The kitchen is odd in that it is modern, but could use a little more space. There is a lot of counter space, but little usable storage, and the oven door hits the cabinets next to it. It all works just fine, but a little more push out of the "island" countertop would work better - there is definitely room here to do that. We loved the balcony and windows overlooking the red rocks. We cannot say enough how awesome this location is! The one bedroom suite does not have a balcony, though there are chairs overlooking the parking area and you can see the mountains there as well, but not as nice as the deluxe balcony. The shower and toilet are separate from the sink and mirror which is nice. The bedroom is large and comfortable. The kitchenette is surprisingly well-appointed. The living area is smallish, and if you use the sofa bed, the room is full. Both rooms have a washer/dryer, which is convenient. Overall a GREAT place to stay!
