My 1 bedroom suite had a leaky A/C unit that flooded the carpet, to begin with. We got maintenance to unclog the A/C pipes, but that didn't help. We had a maintenance fan running the whole stay, hoping to dry the carpet, which it didn't do. To make matters worse, my son stepped on the wet carpet and slipped on the adjacent tile. The room comes with a fridge, a stove and a washer/dryer unit. We cooked and stuff, but the accident just killed the vibe. Just a terrible room, terrible service, why do they book rooms that have flooded carpet and that cause accidents?
We had a nice three-night stay here in a one bedroom deluxe, roomy with a balcony. There is also a one bedroom suite that is not as large, small kitchenette and no balcony which we have had in the past. We enjoyed the deluxe unit because it gave us more of a resort feel. Swimming pool and hot tub are now open 24 hours and it is a beautiful place as you look up at the stars late at night. The front desk and service people all seem to be friendly and helpful. We even had a good experience with the 'parking pass' desk where the lady was not high pressuring us to attend the normally dreadful meeting.
Oh my god got this beauty on a hotel site, and am so thankful. The Wyndham is a amazing resort. We have a 1 bdrm, but very comfortably sleeps 4. Kitchen is great, stove, big fridge. Washer/Laundry. Shower pressure is problay the only bad point Pool area is good. Best feature by far ,is the staff. Thank you so much
Booked a 2 bedroom suite during the memorial day weekend. Travelled with my brother and his family for a weekend getaway to Grand Canyon, The hotel was perfect for those travelling with kids. Ample dining space, laundry and kitchen in the room. the 2 bedroom was good for 8 people. The walls were a bit thin but not to a point that it would become bothersome. Lots of activities for the kids, movie nights and activity center. Service was excellent, the lady at the counter gave us extra keys so, the kids can go to the activity center without borrowing our keys, they were a bit strict on the extended checkout but we understand, it was a busy season. This is a time share property, they will try to sell their property, but they were not pushy to a point that it becomes intrusive. Cookies, coffee and water are available at the lobby. The place is convenient, there is a grocery store ( I think it was Ralph's) and eateries just outside the entrance. View was excellent.
The view here is AMAZING! The location is wonderful. I had a 2 bedroom lockoff unit, which is a 1 bedroom deluxe and 1 bedroom suite, so I will describe them separately. The 1 bedroom deluxe is SPACIOUS. There is a ton of room here to relax with huge windows and glass doors to view the red rocks outside. There is a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom as well. The bathroom and shower seem out of date when compared to the rest of the unit, but are clean and function well, so NO complaints. The shower is very large and comfortable. The kitchen is odd in that it is modern, but could use a little more space. There is a lot of counter space, but little usable storage, and the oven door hits the cabinets next to it. It all works just fine, but a little more push out of the "island" countertop would work better - there is definitely room here to do that. We loved the balcony and windows overlooking the red rocks. We cannot say enough how awesome this location is! The one bedroom suite does not have a balcony, though there are chairs overlooking the parking area and you can see the mountains there as well, but not as nice as the deluxe balcony. The shower and toilet are separate from the sink and mirror which is nice. The bedroom is large and comfortable. The kitchenette is surprisingly well-appointed. The living area is smallish, and if you use the sofa bed, the room is full. Both rooms have a washer/dryer, which is convenient. Overall a GREAT place to stay!
We have now stayed here twice. The rooms are very good with full kitchen. The pool is a great relaxing time if the families with kids are done for the day or taking a break. The staff is very good about making reservations for attractions or restaurants.
This facility is starting to show its age. Our apartment is located next to the main road. So noisy with all the traffic that runs up and down it when we try to sit out on the balcony. we have been here in years past, and it never seem to get any better.
We are Worldmark owners - made our reservation in aug 2016 with the request for a top floor 1 bdroom with a view of the red rocks. Upon checking in, we found out that Wyndham platinum owners 'trump' our level of ownership so we did not get the room we wanted. The staff did work to get us on the 'hill' - so from our large balcony we could look to the north and see across the parking lot and over the 'preferred buildings 1100 and 1300) some of the rock formations. The one bdroom unit has a large great room area. The furniture is showing some wear. The kitchen is a little cramped, with dishes under the counter and the frig door opening into a small space near the wall making it awkward to access. over the week we had numerous interactions with the staff and at the end of our 1 week stay, feel they all are doing the best they can to make everyone happy.
The resort was very nice. The furniture could be cleaner, the shower head could be better and there could be a screen on the sliding door. Other than that, it was a nice place. The concierge was very nice and in fact, everyone was nice. The only downside was that I had to go to a presentation where the salesperson practically ruined my vacation. The concierge was not up front about what the presentation was about and I was bullied by the sales representative who had the audacity to call my husband names and told me I was just like him.
My wife and I stayed 3 nights on Mother's Day weekend. The check in process was smooth and efficient. Our room was on the second floor so no one would be above us. The one bedroom deluxe had a nice LR/DR combo and kitchen with a stove, full sized refrigerator and all the necessities for eating in the condo. The bathroom was adequate and the AC worked well. We didn't use the pool or attend any activities as there is so much to do in Sedona. I would stay again as long as we don't need to attend the timeshare 1 hour presentation. We were given inaccurate information about why we should attend (as the website was being updated so they would help us navigate the new site). Unfortunately, we feel for it and ended up spending over 3 hours there with a today only price package to increase our points.
