The staff were all nice and friendly, and it was in a convenient location. But, the building itself definitely needs some maintenance.
I didn't notice until our check out morning, but on the third floor, our room had some water damage and a pretty long crack in the ceiling - luckily it was sunny during our visit and we didn't get leaked on, but I wished I had noticed sooner to mention it.
And the beds were probably the most uncomfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. Everything was NEAT and CLEAN, but I was restless throughout the night and woke up aching and sore.
We didn't go swimming so I can't comment on the pool at all, but the location was close to the mall and not too far from downtown, so it was nice and convenient. It was also behind a goo bit of trees so even though it right on a main road, it was nice and quiet.
