First, the positive. The hotel was clean. The room was comfortable. The pillows plush. There were three sets of couples that came to stay. We chose this hotel because it was close to where we were going to a Christmas party, and because it had a bar. When we checked in, we were told the bar would be open from 5 PM until 11 PM. After the Christmas party, we went back to sit at the bar for a nightcap. The bar was not open. The man at the front desk said that it had not been opened at all. The lobby was full of people there to socialize, etc. It was extremely disappointing that the bar was never opened. We did not eat breakfast because we did not want to pay extra for the breakfast. They do have coffee in the lobby, however, when we went to get coffee, it was completely empty.

The staff was amazing. Desiree was a blessing with our check in- The staff was wonderful and treated us like family! Great staff and wonderful experience. The only reason we are not giving 5 stars is because we have a discrepancy with our bill. We are being charged for things we should not when we paid the total on Expedia.

Very clean room. Staff extremely friendly. The water in the Swimming pool was very cloudy and a lot of dead bugs were in the water. The filter system seemed to be turned off, very unhygienic.

We arrived at check in time 3:00. We were told that the room wasn’t ready and to wait 20 minutes. We attempted to check in again after waiting and were told the room was still not ready and the employee said he did not know when it would be, housekeeping had not responded. After the entire line of people checking in were taken care of, we asked another employee to help since we were getting none from the first employee. We were given a different room after an hour of trying to check in. Never again will we stay in this hotel. No excuse for this to have happened.

The room and hotel itself were lovely. Great little bar and breakfast had great options. Hite on a great location. Best bed so comfy and location nice and quiet from traffic. Definitely business friendly. I would’ve given the property five stars but we had an incident at arrival that caused concern. We called the hotel three times in advance of arrival indicating we wouldn’t be arriving until after midnight. Left my phone number for anyone to call. Arrived at property at 2:30 am and told our room had been cancelled. Audit running and can’t check in. Front desk said they had no idea if we were coming or not. We sat in lobby 30 min until audit done and we could check in. Fortunately our room was available as we had booked a second night as well. They didn’t charge us for that first missed night but had someone called us to inquire if we were still coming which we said we would be there after midnight, they could have charged our card and let us check in on arrival after five hours of driving and not made us sit in the lobby. We almost were going to leave to find another hotel but the audit finished. The clerk at the desk was snappy but we let the hotel know we would be late. My guy almost lost it with the clerk as we didn’t deserve the attitude. That said, hotel staff overall are great. Would definitely stay again but just arrive earlier. Great hotel overall!
