I liked the 24/7 coffee in the lobby. I didn’t like that when the hot water for tea ran out, around 11:30 pm, the clerk at the front desk wouldn’t refill it. She told me to use the small coffee maker in my room to get hot water for tea.
We checked in after 11:30pm. The night staff greeted me at the door with a smile. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay there again when traveling to Durham

I really like the Hampton Inn chain until I stayed at this one! The lobby and everything is fine. My room is where the issue was. The sheets were dingy and thin. Like very used and not crisp like most Hampton Inns. The pillows had zero fluff or firmness to them compared to every other Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at. The bedspread had stains. Luckily I had a blanket in my car that I could sleep wrapped up in. I arrived at midnight and asked for new pillows. The front desk guy got me more, but they were basically the same weakness. The room just didn’t feel up to the Hampton Inn standard. If you can, stay at the Kannapolis Hampton Inn instead.

We booked a stay for 2 nights and on our 2nd night we were locked out of 2 of our 3 rooms for almost 2 hrs and were told that they were only booked for 1 night, but in their system it was coded as a no show. We showed them our prepaid itinerary and still had to wait until a Asst. General Mgr from another property to come and reinstate our rooms in the system and provide us new keys. My son is diabetic and his additional meds were locked in one of the rooms. They claimed it was a glitch in the system, however, it was confirmed that the woman that checked us in did something incorrect in the system. We had to leave our family reunion early to meet our children to resolve the matter. It was extremely frustrating. The manager Pam said that she would comp our stay but we haven’t seen a refund.
Location was good. Pillow had poop on it. Bed comforter had black dog hair on it. No pillow cases or bath towels when arrived. Breakfast milk cartons were spoiled.
Everything was good and inwas pleased with the service
I arrived late so needed to sleep in but the lawn mowers and weed trimmers started by 7:45am right under my window. Ugh! I told the attendant that it would be good in the future to have them start later in the day for customers like me but he completely blew me off and the look on his face was "you stupid man". He responded "Yeah, we could consider that". Bad experience all around.
Good location, good condition, close to schools and restaurants
My room was halfway done and cleaned. One bed was made and the other was not. Mold in the tub caulking It had a stuffy smell. Rates were high because of Duke move”in. Too pricey for that room.
