Hotel staff was very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to assist in making your stay excellent! The property is also very beautiful!

It's was an excellent hotel in a great location. We enjoyed the easy access to the surrounding area and the comfort of the lodging. It is close to Duke university and that was important for our visit. The entire city area is beautiful but coming back to the Double Tree was a respite back to relax.

You expect basic and clean and you expect the staff to be cordial. This hotel exceeds in both areas and in this era it is unusual. Very outgoing staff. The stay was plesant and i would return without hesitation.

This hotel is beautiful. The lobby is awesome and the porch and pool are amazing. We were traveling across the country and happened to stop here on my birthday and I was very pleased. The dinner was also amazing. We had a really nice time and would definitely stay here again if we were ever in the area.

Clean, comfortable, and yummy cookies! Our tv ordered a video by accident and they comped it with no hesitation. Despite a little difficulty locating it, we had a great stay. Would stay again!

This hotel was wonderful! The set up and location reminded me of a quaint country bed and breakfast. The staff was very nice and the hotel was clean with a lot of space and updated features in the room. The stay was quiet and a great asset to my getaway wih my husband :)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were here for a wedding and stayed two nights in the hotel. Very nice; very clean; room could have been bigger, but that's our fault; we should have booked a regular room with two beds instead of a king with pullout bed. Granite is a very nice touch. The staff was lovely; everyone we encountered was exceptionally nice but especially at Remington's for breakfast. Very nice bar/lounge area also. A very well managed place.

The hotel was lovely. It was a brief stay, but everything was perfect.

Positive experience. Traveled with a 3 year old and a 8 year old.

We stayed here for a wedding held in the hotel's courtyard. Great shuttle driver and ride from the airport to hotel! Good suggestions for places to go in the area and shuttle service within 5 miles of the hotel. Quick responsiveness to report of leak in hotel room and move into room of same caliber. Would def stay again!!

We wanted to be close to the airport as our arrival and departure times were late night and early morning respectively. The hotel was very quiet, effectively somewhat lifeless in terms of the movement and decor, but the personnel was exceptionally nice.

great

The best thing we can say is about the people and more specifically [...], who was very friendly and helpful. She printed out directions & menus to shopping centers and restaurants.

The hotel staff was very, very nice. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly. We had a small problem with the bathtub not draining properly, but it was taken care of immediately. The lobby was always full of people...some type of party going on, night and day, but you couldn't hear it in the rooms. The room was kept very clean. The hotel is in a nice location if you want variety (about midway between Raleigh and Durham).

granted circumstances unusual winter storm however was not catastrophic no loss of power,we were given confusing directions to the hotel with two different street addresses so that even gps locator was confused,on arrival when confronted with directions written down verbatim following 4 phone calls front desk staff denied any responsibility for erroneous info, personaaly i felt i was being told i just didnt listen, getting past all that...we had amemorable time with our nephew just back fr iraq, tho the room was small, restaurant menu was ltd due to the "blizzard of 2010"...the 4'snowfall was beautiful and we drank alot,in the bar where Medina was most gracious and helpful.Truthfully,we would neverchoose this location again. it was a bit worn, small rooms, they were not booked up, but for some reason would not upgrade us to a larger room...because of the srorm nothin was open anywhere...[...]bthrm incredibly small shower and in tub jacuzzi did not work

The purpose of my stay was to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. The hotel has a Park and Fly option. When you stay overnight, you can leave your car for up to 14 days. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport. Service was excellent and the shuttle was on time. When I returned, the was a phone in the baggage area with a connection to the hotel so I could easily request the shuttle to pick me up.

I had stay at your location before and i will return again

Only drawback was noise from nearby freeway. Didn't realize it was so close, but could hear white noise constantly. Also, pool was disappointing.

First-class service. Peaceful setting and great location.
