Presidential Suites Punta Cana - All Inclusive

3.5 out of 5.0

went to all inclusive here. It was a challenge not speaking the native language here as directions and information is not very clear. You have to be very proactive but people were friendly. It says all inclusive but people still tip here to get better service.

nonchalont staff, slow service, hit or miss staff. some willing to help, others not so much

We had an absolutely amazing time!! The room beat every expectation we had! The people are some of the nicest we have ever met!! They are in the middle of an update so there is small construction but nothing that bothered us in the slightest!! 10 out of 10 would go again!!

I will never ever stay in this place again !! I just went and come back from here yesterday but it was a big disappointment for me and my wife. Ppl who work in this hotel they are trying to suck your blood every minute.. We didn’t enjoy it at all even when you wanna do relaxing in the beach they bother you all the time and trying to sell something especially one specific place that we hated so much it’s VIP building and people are working for them. Out of no where some came and took us the vip building and wanted us to sign for it and took our 4 hrs basically killed my vacation’s first day and get so upset from first day to last day, I honestly won’t recommend anyone here to stay but Punta Cana is a nice place to go and see so I would say if you wanna go to Punta Cana you definitely have to go and see this beautiful city but stay in different resort NOT this Disappointed Presidential Suites.!!

Back the second time this year & not disappointed. The suite was clean, food was good & service was excellent. Employees are so nice & made us feel very welcomed. Will be back again next May.

Experience was good it would be better if their was more restaurants.

Spacious apartment, friendly staff, tasty food, nice beach.

This "resort" was laughable.. there was one buffet restaurant open as all the others required reservations and were booked for the entire week. The food was AWFUL! And I have never been to an all inclusive "resort" that only has food available at certain times of the day.Rooms weren't ready even though it was check in time and we waited an hour to actually be assigned a room. The beach was covered in trash and the pools are only open til 7.. REALLY they know people are on vacation right! We were supposed to be there 8 days but paid 700$ to fly out early and go home.. please do your research and don't stay here!!!

1. No linens provided, towels, rags etc. 2. It was like being in an apartment you need to bring all your supplies. 3. There were multiple roaches in the room. Cleanliness was an issue. 4. Internet was not free in room. 5. There was no water for a half of day early in the morning. 6. Food was a hit or miss. Mostly a miss. 7. Beach was right onsite. 8. Took maintenance 3.5 days to come fix T.V. and sliding door. 9. Welcome consist of trying to get you to but into their timeshare. However, they swiped my card for $2800 and was refusing to put it back. Also they used my information to apply for 2 credit cards. 10. The natives were very pushy. They bombarded you to buy things from them. 11. Don't stay downstairs or by the pool. Noise level was an issue. 11. Security was onsite and all carried weapons which gave away that it was not a very safe area.

There were roaches in the room even after they moved us to a new room. The majority of the hotel staff were very rude and treated whites and males better than the other hotel guests. The racial profiling was blatant. There were a few staff that were very helpful. The service for anything took an enormous amount of time, I.e service to the room such as getting an iron, getting a drink at the bar etc. no manager on duty the entire stay so no one to truly consult with about my issues! I wouldn't stay here again which is a shame because the hotel itself is beautiful and very close to outside entertainment. They did keep their exterior very clean even by the beach. The food was moderate, not too good but not too bad. Staff wasn't always honest about what was on the menu during downtime from the buffet so they would lie and say only hot dogs or hamburgers are available until the buffet is open. However, you would see a white family order wraps, salads, grouped fish etc right after you asked the same staff at the same window. Very sad and disappointing the racial profiling and roaches! I am requesting a refund at this time, sadly no one is ever available at the hotel for complaints. Also most staff didn't speak English.

The staff was rude a lot of the time and ignored the customers. There were times where I had to wait an hour for someone to just bring me water. The man who went around trying to sell spa sessions and things like that was too pushy and annoyed me everyday when I told him I wasn't interested in any of that and he would make rude remarks. The food was cold most of the time and not cooked well in general. Most of the days the food made me sick so I just wouldn't eat anything besides salad. The area where the resort was at had a lot of locals trying to sell their services and they would not take no for an answer and hounded me everyday. The cleaning staff did not clean our room everyday or re stock out water everyday. When we called for water we had to wait for an hour and then we called again and had to wait for another 45 minutes for anyone to bring us water. The beach was the nicest part of the trip.

My sister and I just came back from staying at the Presidential Suites, the resort was clean and staff aimed to please. We arrived late that night and the restaurants had closed, Speedy helped with our luggage to the room and gave us a quick tour of the resort, he had the cook to make us burgers and fries. Our room was spacious and the sky view was incredible. Housekeeping even washed a few dishes and catered to our request of extra towels. We least like the food, bed was not comfortable, and since we were not members, we were not given towels on the beach but we had our own. This is a nice resort but not kid friendly often times the daycare was closed and not enough activities to keep them occupied. I would recommend to a friend and stay again if the price is good.

We when as a family group of 13 people and every one was please the way waiters/waitress and bartenders attended all of our needs. most of the week rain but we had a great time because the entertainment crew was amassing, everyone was playful but respectful. We will recommend this hotel any time and we will return one day.

Unfortunately when we arrived, it had been raining for DAYS and the electricity, water, and pumps had all stopped working that morning. Our first impression was not a good one...bad smell, water/sewage everywhere, pools closed. HOWEVER, the staff was working non-stop to clean it up, helping accommodate those whose rooms needed to be switched due to flooding and our own room was upgraded as well! The 3 bedroom apartment was big and way more room than we needed, but it was very nice! Our balcony overlooked the pool. We didn't have a need for a full kitchen, but nice to have in case. We were just steps away from the pool (which we couldn't use due to the circumstances, but it would have been great!) the beach, and the eating area. There is a little beach bar just steps away from the seats on the beach as well....thats always nice. There were daily beach activities and games that you could participate in. Music playing. At night, there was a theme event: Disco Night, Karaoke, Michael Jackson. It was something small, but entertaining to do. The food was expected...buffet style, several options. There was a theme for dinner each night: Italian, Mexican, etc. There were 2 eating areas that you could make reservations for: Japanese and Italian. We did not do this, but our friends really enjoyed the Japanese restaurant. We did not bring kids on this trip so I cannot comment on that. But I did not see many kids in general...maybe 2.

Very nice hotel, close to the beach and with all ammenities, the food was great and it was different everyday. Very good entertainment team. Goog location with access to town within walking distance! I would definetely recommend the hotel and go again!

Less than friendly management, wait staff was nice. At best, mediocre food, difficulty getting food at inbetween meal times.

Staff is super nice and always checking on you. Not that big of a resort but didn't mind because staff was never to busy for you. Really liked the fact that they had security 24/7 which made me feel safe. The bar is literally off the beach. The entertainment crew was funny and wanted to make sure you were having a good time. The buffet is like other buffets. Restaurants at the resort were good but make sure you make your reservations in advance. Would definitely recommend anybody to come here if they are looking for a good time and to relax.

Not the biggest resort but lots of fun and plenty of activities to do. Plenty of nearby shops and restaurants if you feel like venturing out. Staff is very friendly and entertaining. The suites are very spacious and beautiful.

Nesecita dar buena propina para que te den buen servicio

Very nice resort, excursions are kinda far, it's in a small town so not much of a city feel for you to walk and explore - Santo Domingo is 2 hours away. So you're kinda stuck to your stay at the resort? Souvenir shop merchants are persistent so beware but they're easy to bargain with. When taking taxis or motorcycle taxis make sure to bargain first!!
