Property was what i needed to get away from my busy life schedule. Clean, enjoyable food and warm/hot weather.

I was not impressed with the food quality. Many Reps at hotel try to sell you something throughout the day. Rooms were up kept well . Bar service people always had a smile .

The 4 restaurants on the property which required reservations served substandard meals. The excursion to the beach on the Caribbean side of the island involved 9 hours travel round trip for only 2 1/2 hours of beach time with poor snorkeling and obnoxiously loud music during the travel to and from the beach. The lunch provide was marginal.

We enjoyed our visit to Impressive. We did upgrade to Premium when we arrived, but would have been better off upgrading when we made the initial reservation instead of waiting. The food was okay in the buffet; there were many choices so you could always find something if you didn't like something else. We really enjoyed the Japanese restaurant. Juan in the swim up pool bar was a fun, fantastic bartender.

The grounds were beautiful, clean and well laid out. There were too many resort representatives trying to up sell and get you to commit to their “superior membership.” According to the orbitz description, we paid for and should have had an ocean view but were put into rooms with barely an ocean view. We had to upgrade to get an actual ocean view. The beachside bars closed too early and served cheap and barely consumable drinks.

Grounds were beautiful. Paying for the upgrade was great. The service was terrible, and they ran out of pop and beer regularly. It was over booked. Some people with reservation could not even stay at the resprt.

We stayed here two years in a row. Last year the resort was outstanding! Great selection of food. This year service the buffet was much poorer and less options to choose. We upgraded to premium and most of the bars kept running out of items.I wanted a mimosa and one bar didn't have orange juice so I went to another bar and they were out of champagne.. ... This happened a lot. Restaurants were good. Limited wait staff on the beach.

We were sent to a better hotel, Melia Caribbean, they didn't give us any reasons, but I have to say this change was for the best. Amazing hotel

Great location, great resort! I would improve customer service and I would definitely change the casino staff.

This place is horrible! The food was undercooked and disgusting. Flies were everywhere on the food. There was a sizzling fly on the pizza plate, when I brought it to their attention, the guy took the same serving utensil thats used to grab a slice and took the fly off of the plate but then put the same utensil back for people to use!!!! We got locked in our room because the door latch was old and shakey. Security had to climb three stories up to our balcony to yank it out with a screwdriver! The sheets and towels are old and stained. This was the first vacation I couldn't wait to end.

Booked a ocean view room and payed extra for it. When we got there they didn't have ocean view room. So they upgraded me to premium Wich I didn't really care about. I wanted a ocean view room that's why I paid extra for it. Very dissapointed. Then instead of taking me to my room, they take me to the concierge and try to sell me time share that I'm not interested in. No toilet paper, no cream for coffee, no soap for shower, safe didn't work, sliding glass door wouldn't lock. I would not recommend this place. Overall it was a bit dissapointing.
