The room was a lotta cramped. We were given a room with a great view of the city, but the downside was a tiny bed.
Excelente hotel. Cerca de todo. Desayuno excelente y cuarto increible con super vista a la ciudad.
The front desk worker, Inchan, was absolutely amazing. Very accommodating, and even remembered our names with so many other people booked in the hotel. The room itself was very spacious and clean. Very large windows and we had a great view of city hall.
The hotel was nice for a business visit, as it is in the vicinity of the convention center and other areas of interest. Breakfast is included, so that's a nice feature. Nevertheless, if you make a reservation for 3 people, you don't want to make the third bed by yourself at 11:30pm, that wasn't very cool.
The hotel was nice right in the center of town I was able to walk around and see a lot of the awesome site philly had to offer.
The hotel is in a very cool location! Close to shopping and restaurants. Clean and great value. Great staff!
The room was laid out very weird, bathroom was very small. But the rest of the room was nice. Only bad part was the head board that seem to not be secured to the wall and feel off in the middle of the night
Really nice hotel that is literally a stone's throw from City Hall. Nice rooms and nice value, would definitely stay there again.
Nice room, older building Comfortable Awesome breakfast and evening snack Great location for downtown area
The staff was very attentive and helpful. Our room was very clean and was wonderful. the hotel itself is very close to many of the Philly attractions. Breakfast is included which was more than your average continental breakfast. I thought the price was very good for what we had. AND you're right across the street from the Philadelphia City Hall building which is one of the most magnificent buildings I have ever seen!
Good friendly staff. Location is good for seeing the liberty bell it was an overall good experience.
I live 2 miles north of center city but i booked a room at this hotel for a little stay-cation for my boyfriends birthday. The staff was amazing. Gvae us choice of lower floor with king sized bed or higher floor with a view and a queen sized bed. Gave us a small free upgrade and wished him a happy birthday at the start and finish of each sentence. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Only problem was our thermostat was broken and seemingly the AC as well. When we asked the front desk for a fan, they said they had none for guests. When we asked while we were out of the hotel between 5-7p if they could check on it. They said of course. When we returned to change for our dinner reservations, the temperature in the room then read "60" as apposed to the 76 that it had previously, but there was barely a diference in the actual temperature in the room. I understand that some people 's comfortable sleeping temperature is in the 70's, and/or high 70's, but unfortunately, my boyfriend and i are not those people. As a result we did not get the restful sleep we should have/could have/ would have gotten which did, but only slightly took away from the overall experience.
Good location. Decently clean hotel. Breakfast and dinner included. So deal was good. Free internet too. No hot omlettes for breakfast.
I did select this hotel because; it has breakfast it has full kitchen it has internet When we arrived the surpise was huge. it is located close to Mr Penn in the tpo of city hall, our room was in 18th floor, from our window, Mr penn was really close to us. The staff was really friendly. in 3 words: It was great!!!!!!!
My boyfriend and I spent one night at this hotel and had a very pleasant stay. Our room was very clean and tidy. Our one complaint was that there was no safe in the room, but this didn't cause any problems for us. The complimentary breakfast was very well done. The scrambled eggs were fresh and there was a lot of variety. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great stay here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the middle of Philly!
We are a family of four with a 2yr and we felt at home here. The room was clean and the staff was great. Would stay here again. Only down fall no pool:(
This hotel is in perfect location, across from City Hall in Center City. Easy walk to all major attractions & about 2 blocks away from Reading Market Terminal. Staff was great and very helpful. Room was nice size with full kitchen.
This was my family's first trip to the East Coast and we wanted to be in the center of it all. The Residence Inn was definitely that! Everything was within walking distance.Independence Hall, Reading Terminal Market, Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, The Rocky Statue, Love Park, you name it!!! The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast every morning, make your own fresh waffles!! The city of Philadelphia has so much to see and do and The Residence Inn was the perfect place to come back to each night!!! We will absolutely stay here again on our next trip!!!!
Great restaurants nearby, walking distance. Hotel staff was very friendly, forgot my toothbrush and had plenty in stock. The room was very clean, nice toiletries (Paul Mitchell), great downtown location. Not noisy at all where I was staying. Parking was a little expensive (parking garage nearby for $35 for 14 hours). Free breakfast was AWESOME. Lots of choices and it actually tasted very good. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to stay in Philly for business trips, book on this website because I received a great nightly rate.
The location of this hotel was perfect, and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was roomy and mostly comfortable. Our only complaint was that it was difficult to control the room temperature. It was either too cold or too stuffy.
